Hi can anyone here point me to where the original autocooler is on my jap TT? I have a british oil cooler wich i want to swap over, so any other parts i may require would be a help also. Thanks :p

Just tried to open my bonnet and it won't open. The pull handle seems to be ok but it doesn't pop open. I guess it's stuck. Any idea how to get it open?

I,ve just purchased a 1993 nissan 300zx (import) non turbo can anyone tell me what fuel I need to put in it for best results is normal unleaded ok or should I use super unleaded?

Got the new car and its great BUT every now and againit seems to jolt to the left when going over a rough bit of road, only ever does it o left. hecked tyres etc and they are kool. any ideas why its doing it, bushers, hicas ??? :bow:

the door open light on my z32 has come on and wont go out. checked all door are shut and checked connections on door so leaves the boot. Where is the boot open or closed sensor that will control the light going on or off , have a feeling when i had the concept alarm fitted they may have donw something. So anyone help?

I may buy some used wheels of another member tomorrow. I think they've been on his 300 and another 300 before that. They will fit my (standard, 1999) car, right? Is there anything I should check for? Cheers! :dance:

Today at 4.30pm ish, Near the Tesco extra/KFC just off the A52 I saw alloys but that was it, sounded very sweet thou!! Rich

when the car is cold, I hear a noise :cry: (as if there were little stones in headers)when the car is at the idle or when I accelerate and released the accelerator(revs btw 1200/2800).hear the noise very well in interior but not with my head under the hood! what can it be?it can't be the lifters cause,i'll be able to hear the noise(with the head under the hood) if it was the lifters. what about VTC ? :confused: after 10mn,when the engine is hot the noise came off :smash:

I know some of the guys on here have fitted the HID conversion , i will have one to fit hopefully when i send the cheque when i get home from rota what is involved to fit it and do ineed any special tools or anything ??

Has anyone fitted a PC in their car as I want to know how to connect it to teh speakers and what did you use to change the power supply? And do you know if you can get a retractable VGA touchscreen?

I want to change the lights behind the dials to red (, whats the best option, covers for the bulbs (red) or LEDs? anyone know/tried it?

Taking apart my cluster the other day to try and find out why it wont light up when you switch the lights on at night, I noticed a rogue wire taped up that looks like it was pulled from the middle block of one of the plugs. Its a red/blue wire. Has anyone got an idea of why it would be pulled or what its for? Im hoping it may have something to do with this problem with the lights not coming on although when i plugged it back it nothing seemed to happen...could it be something to do with the fog switch perhaps? cheers, rob

Hi. Just wondering of it's ok to share the same signal vacuum hose I use for my Profec B that is routed in behind the centre stereo facia, for the sensor for my Greddy Electronic boost gauge, having them both tee'd together and sat next to each other. I thought about plumbing them separately but firstly I didn't want to run anything else through the bulkhead if I don't have to, secondly I thought It'll just be another potential leak point if I do, and finally, that the plenum is covered in vacuum lines that are tee'd into each other and split off in various directions anyway... Is this ok to do this? I was just worried about one interfering with another, causin…

Ok a typical newbie question..... If I fit an exhaust without a cat, will my car fail an MOT on emissions? Or are some cars exempt because they were manufactured before a certain year? My car was manufactured in 93.

how the HELL do you change the headlight bulb? I can't see a way without either taking the unit out, or half of the engine :shock: I need the car drivables within the next hour or so :( any help will be GREATLY appeciated!

ok guys was going to sell my zed but got a garage to keep it in for the winter i live in Malvern and want to know where to take me zed to get uprated brakes and a chip upgrade in the midlands any help appreciated :cool:

My Jap spec has an orange warning light with an engine icon on it. I am sure it comes on if there is a problem with the engine management system. Here's the question. If it is off (as mine is) does it mean that there will be no Conzult Error messages. Chris

My 300 has the Race logic Traction Control setup, a friend has had a laptop on it and confirmed that it is correctly set up for the car, but thinks it is not getting the correct RPM feed from the ECU. Hence it doesn't actually cut at the right time. My question is does anyone have the correct pins outs that I need, or any advice on what I can try? Thanks
