what is the steering hydraulic oil pressure ?

I am looking into rebuilding my Turbos myself with a 360 rebuild kit - which I have found quite cheaply, but I am a bit concerned about the effects of NOT having the internals balanced (which I can't do at home) Has anyone rebuilt their own Turbos before?

Can you fit the Front brakes on the back? Going to get a Big Brake system for teh front.

I've been having the hicas/speedo problem for a while now ... ignition on, steering is fine, after a few minutes (time varies) of driving, the steering goes heavy and a short while later, the hicas light comes on. Lately, the speedo sometimes stays at 0, but this is not always the case and does not seem to correlate directly with the hicas prob. I have run a conzult on it and noticed the following: - steering angle was out by 240 degrees. Thought I had fixed this, but now its out again. Trouble is, conzult shows that it recognises the straight ahead position (the neutral indicator on conzult is enabled), but it reads 240 degrees right at that point. How ca…

See thread "big Ends" for full story, but if I was to upgrade my standard T25's, what is the next stage, I am thinking the compressor and housing from T28 onto mine. And if this works what HP and do I need to do anything else. currently exhaust, Apexi, JWT chip and water injection soon. I am not looking at spending masses of money, just a bit of an upgrade while the eingine is out.

Hi, I have a noisy big end, (I think) just starting to get noisy actually. But it gets worse every time I start it almost. So, I want to catch it early before it does any serious damage. Question one, can you do them with the engine in the car? Its too dark to see at the mo. And Q2, is there anything funny about them, as in, are they just normal shells or are they all "matched" like some Mitsubishi's? Or can I just buy the right size and fit them? Thanks....

just wondering if the turbos are any more accessable with the plenium off as im changin mine for a polished one and thinkin about upgrading the tubs but dont want to pull the engine if i dont have to.

Hi, Noticed on some occasions (mainly on cold start) that there is a tapping noise coming from the engine. This seems to go after a while but the other morn it was like it and after 30mins driving, got back and noticed it was still doing it! Any ideas? Could be tappets? Cheers, Dan :cool:
