Hi, just bought a brand new jap import 1993 300zx TT Auto in Black, with the following modifications. Any help you guys can give would be really appreciated. Car has:- HKS Variable Valve ontroller - No instructions Panasonic CN DV3020 Sat Nav Pioneer Carrezzoria TV & Display unit and several ariels inside but thefted Display unit. Maruhama R350 Radar Detector (no instructions) TechTom CM100 display Strut Brace Stainlesssteel Exhausts In dash DVD player with missing front panel. Any ideas on the above? Also, there is a very strong smell of petrol when starting from cold, which goes away after 10 mins or so, concerned about this. Trie…

I am going to be getting some nismo 555's, but i have a MINES ecu. does anyone know how and where i could get it remapped for the bigger injectors. :confused: Or would it be better going for a different chip. Eddie

just had back end jacked up. had a look under at hicas while some1 wobbled wheel from side to side and could see an feel play in both the arms that come out off main hicas body. I take that this is what is causing my rear end wobble lol :confused:

ok guys... Question for you here. As you know I have given you guys first dibs on my NA (just doing the decent thing to offer you guys first) but before I put it on ebay, I keep seeing it is more cost effective to break them.. but is the true of NA's? Should I flog it whole or break it?

I think I know the answer to this..but worth a try.....Does anyone know if the Phase 2 Heater control unit with its Airflow direction buttons (which the Phase 1 lacks) would fully work in a Phase 1 car?

I understand the principal of the oil catch tank - but on my 92 NA do i need one (they are very BLING) - and where does it attach too ? Thanks peeps

Hey, I have been searching on Ebay for induction kits for my 1992 300ZX N/A. Can anyone give me some advice to which one is the best to buy, the price range varies, so was just wondering which one I actually need! Also are they easy to fit yourself. Does anyone have any pictures with one fitted. Also, do I need two of them ot just one? Cheers for your help in advance Jon

Hi, I need to replace both my front and back brake discs and brake pads. I only want discs and pads for normal road use on my twin turbo, can anybody make any recommendations of the cheapest place to get some. Any recommendations on brake pads etc will be appreciated. Should I look into having parts imported in from America to save money, if so which is a good company to go too. if anyones selling any discs and pads give me a shout ;)

Hi there! Just got a Greddy Profec B spec 2 today, has anyone out there installed one recently? I found just one online guide that is very vague, but I'm guessing you 'T' the wastegate actuator lines and intercooler pressure lines together like with the AVCR, then run the two ends of the 'T' to the valve... Thing is, where is the consensus of where best to put the valve? Is the loom long enough to reach the front bumper? And the loom / boost signal, do you feed them through the bulkhead with the ECU loom? And also, anyone got any benchmark settings for SET, START and GAIN for a car on standard tubs? Looking for about 13psi as a max. Just a rough guideline to sho…

Help needed, if I push and hold the AUTO+OFF for about 5seconds I get this Auto+OFF+5sec= 00 set 9 amb Push AUTO once more = 30 33 Push AUTO once more = 40 0 Push Auto once more = 50 50 Push AUTO once more = 00 9 this is the start once more. So is this how you change the heater settings? and if so which of the above do I change to give more heat to my feet. My zed is a UK 1990 if that helps.

Currently half way thru replacing Waterpump, but cant get the timing belt cover off (metal cover that sits lower than the two cam covers). It looks like u have to remove the crank pulley :headvswal can anyone confirm ?

Eternally greatfull for any help...I am Fooked off :headvswal I have checked out the various threads about this and not found the complete definitive soloution. :confused: I babble on a bit :xxx: but stick with me on this please... I need to remove rear quarter panels by the triangular rear windows to fit the 3point seatbelts to my JAP IMPORT. I have found the small plastic cover (top) :dance: hiding the screw but am unable to go any further without breaking anything. I know that i also have to remove the boot struts...but how without getting a set of moleys on them??? I also read that their are small plastic tabs on this panel in question but where???.…

Help. Came on last night, it's the light above the ABS warning light looks like a windscreen with a jet of water, checked the washer bottle and thats OK. Any ideas please

Got PCV valves and apparently their the wrong bloody size. ffs now the cars gona be off bloody road for fooking ages till i can find out what size i need. how many sizes do they make for 1991 jap tt for ffs. theres more bloody money wasted.

Caught a quick glimpse of this blue beauty going through Marlborough town centre (Wiltshire) at 3:15 this afternoon. Didn't catch any detail, except the reg, but it was looking rather shiny :D. Was it anyone out there??

hey guys! if im running; t28 hybrid tubs,Greddy i/c,s apexi boost controller etc etc are 555 injectors ample for the job? if so is an nismo adjustable regulator and uprated damper the way to go? not planning at the mo to go for fuel controller! thanks guys!

does anyone know roughly what it cost's to have it repaired or replaced.i've found a company that will repair it if i give them the prop £50 which isn't too bad but not sure how much work is involved in getting it off.don't really want to attempt it myself. i get a vibration from below the drivers seat above 35 mph and it seems to die down after driving for ages.do you think it's the prop? cheers.
