A Dark Grey 2+2 G321 ??? (didn't get the rest) about 8.30 this morning on Barkby Road, Leicester heading towards Barkby village. Just noticed you as I passed in the op. direction in my work vehicle (a Laguna).

The compressor claims to supply 8cfm at 116psi.

Does the interior from a short wheel base fit a long wheel base and what other bit, e.g what panels are different apart from the petrol cap being in a different place, will the prop shaft fit a long wheel base? :confused:

can any1 tell me how to take the rubber/plastic strip off the outside of the drivers door that the window sits against? mine needs a little straightening lol cheers

After a long day on the telephone trying to get infomation on the above, it turns out that the system for doing this is called Vacuum Metallization. there are a few places that do this and i will be ringing them 2morow so will update as and when. The major problem could turn out to be batch quanties in relationship to price. see threds to follow

Im going to see 2 300zx`s on sat. One is uk the other is jap. I know all the advantages and disadvantages of both but not sure about the differences in parts. I know that most parts are the same but there must be some different parts that are a little harder to get hold of. Have owned a jap celica gt4, quite a few things were different. Mainly little things but had 2 wait an extra week or so on some things. Just as an example both cars are at the year when the cambelt should b done (not sure if they already have or not) would it be the same cambelt kit to buy from nissan? could some helpful people put some examples of when having an import has been an issue with parts or …

Is anyone selling the dial console for a uk turbo Z with 160 mph max speed on??? As i have ordered a new set of dials on they dont match my 190 kph. (dont want to disturb the callibration)

Thinking about a new car and have long been a fan of the 300zx twin turbo. What I'm wandering is a couple of things about performance. Being turbo and a 3 litre I imagine you can get a good bit of power out of some not too expensive mods. I would be getting an auto Jap import hopefully with some upgraded alloys and stereo and some minor engine mods. What kinda quarter mile times are modified 300zx's running with auto box. Could I expect to see 13.5 or is that asking too much. To get 350BHP ie 70 increase and say a fair increase in torue what kinda mods would I need? I have noticed some decent modified cars in Japan at auction, would anyone advise getting something already…

greed took over my better judgement when i got hold of this for £20. as you can see from the photo, the gasket leading to the MAF doesnt fit on the cone, no matter which way you rotate it. is there any kind of adapter which will help me out or have i learned my lesson?

It's probably been asked before, but I just cant be arsed to search this time (as it wont come up with what I want, even if I do :rolleyes: ) Can I just go into a motorbike shop and get the correct size front number plate made up to fit the 99 spec front bumper location? (if that makes sense?) Or is there more to it than that? TIA

My heater matrix is stuffed where is the best place to get a new one or can I recon the old one once cars stripped down. ThankZ

drove past tesco tonite and seen a sweet looking black 93tt with a full body and nice looking volks in the window, the identical looking car to mine with some lucky basted just like me------lol

Ok... so i drove her to work, with no proplems and left her there for a week, went to start it.... and she turns over fine so the battery isnt flat, but for some reason just wont bite :headvswal , iv never had a problem with her, she has new oil, only 48000 miles on the clock and has been really well looked after, any ideas or am i going to have to bite the bullet and take her to nissan? :( a work mate thinks its the cold start sensor :confused: any help would be relly apeciated ;)

when i done the cambelt (z32tt), i noticed oil from around the cam pulley areas, so i replaced the cam & crank seals. i had to remove the covers again & the oil is back (though only around the o/s ex cam pulley) :mad: i replaced this seal, but it continues to leak, im wondering if it could be the pulley itself leaking? & if they can, how do you fix it? (not replace surely!)
