Does anyone know the size of the rear wheel bearing locking nut

I was just wondering if anyone knew where i could source a second hand or new bolt on turbo conversion for my NA Zed. Ive been looking at Jim Wolfe Tech Sports 650 (JWT) turbos or greddy TD05-16G, but ideally i want a kit that has everything i need for the job - all piping etc And before you say it - no i should sell and buy a tubby. Mine is mint i know the car and its already tuned to capacity for an NA - so i dont want to start again ! Has anyone done the conversion before ? If so could they tell me all i need for the job - injectors, ECU etc Any help would be greatly appreciated - and if ive got to remove the engine then i will port and polish, an…

Im wondering if there is anywhere that does a 2 pod pillar for the passenger side pillar but allows the guages to face the driver?? I know i could get a LHD spec one but the guages would be facing forwards to much so as i would be in driver seat i couldnt see them. Anyone know of anywhere?? or heard of it ?

ok gang, ive got a 93tt j spec,--on the motorway in overdrive off,when the speed reaches about 80kph the revs drop even though ime in top gear, am i right in thinking this is the t/converter locking up getting ready for cruise mode because i cant remember this happing on my past zeds,which were a 90 and a 91, the rpm only drop about 300--400 and the box seems fine in all other speed rangers brian93tt

right, my swb is completley stock apart from having a JWT chip and boost jets (not a very sensible setup) so what should i expect/do to get it back to stock ecu and where will i find the boost jets so i can remove them? thanks guys yaseen

I have been told that my O2 sensor is on its way out does anybody know where I can get some new ones from at a good price He also advised that I need to get both changed at the same time even though only one is buggered??? thanks Mo

just wondered what everyone's opinions are on replacing the stock oil cooler for a larger aftermarket one on a 93 t/t manual.??? worth it ??

ive read the manual and the tech link but for the life of me i cant get the zed into diagnostic mode so i can bleed the hicas rack, with all wheels off the floor, is there a special technique for doing it or am i a complete :xxx: with hand foot co ordination :rolleyes:

How do you know if an engine is a UK or Jap? Dont kill me on this one i've had a long day :shock:

Hi, 93 TT Jap auto, JWT, Apexi, Exhausts, running about 14psi, 1 mm boost jets. What plugs are best? Make and number please. Thanks. PS, mine has no Hicas thingy under the bonnet, but it does have Hicas, I think that makes it electronic Hicas? And 94 model, Yes or no?

A friend of mine had to call the AA out today after she pulled up to some lights, and the car died. The AA bloke towed her to a garage to have the gearbox/clutch looked at, and they initially said she would be most likely looking at 1500+labour... The car starts up ok, but doesnt move at all drive or reverse, however it will sometimes "grip" and move a little. (this is what she told me!) Is 1500 an OK price or is she being ripped here? Cheers!

just wondered if anyone has any experience of this in an Auto box, My Gearbox has returned this as a fault code, and luckily Ive got a warranty as it was a new gearbox on the car, when I brought it. the Car drives fine but pulls forward when you put it into Drive. The gearbox chap says he wont know until he starts taking it apart. just out of curiosity? chris

Hi Andy - many thanks for the clock repair, mate. Plumbed in and shining brightly. Nice. :p Just one thing, though, it was delivered with the wrong time on it - it was 4.35 when it was installed but it arrived from you with 00:00 on it. :rofl:

Thanks to Dave @ PHNW I got a replacement bumper and is in the bodyshop at the moment being customised. The problem is I want it to be front mounted intercooler ready and the bodyshop says he needs to know the standard dimensions of a 300ZX front mounted intercooler to make sure he doesnt make it too small or too big and look rediculous. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction to find this info?

has anyone changed there rear wheel bearing on the Z, how hard is it and can you just get the bearing or do you get the hub aswell. oh and where can i get one from. cheers Chris
