As above, reg: M740***, Uk-spec, aftermarket alloys. Either you never see one or I see three in the space of 10 minutes (your's was the only one I had the time to catch the reg of as I was parked up. Anyone on here?

Looking into fitting one of these on the wifes 200sx to stop it smoking (turbo seal on way out). Would it benefit fitting one to the zed? Apparantly (Cusco states) - You can boost up another 3psi extra without risk of detonation?!? Are there any benefits from fitting them apart from to stop smoke? Cheers

JUST BOUGHT IT. ANYONE TELL ME WHAT TO LOOK FOR. DRIVING HOME THE HEATER WENT COLD EVEN ON 40f TEMP GAUGE ABOVE HIGH AND THEN IT STARTED TAPPING, I THINK IT WAS FROM THE TAPPETS. OIL PRESSURE THEN DROPPED FROM 60 TO NEARER 0 GOT RECOVERER TO TAKE ME HOME CHEERS DANNY :headvswal

i brought a z31 3ltr single turbo engine and box the other month and its missing some bits and i cant find any one breaking there z31 turbo. is there any one that knows of a breakers yard who dosent charge the earth for the bits im only after a oil cooler with pipes, clutch, and a wire loom. let me know on: kickingriffin@aol.com cheers lads and ladies

This might be a bit of a silly question, but can somebody please explain the different models of the 300zx!? :confused: In my searches through autotrader, etc. I have come across the following descriptions and I must admit I am slightly lost as to what the differences are. NISSAN 300 ZX Fairlady Sports NISSAN 300 ZX Twin Turbo NISSAN 300 ZX 3.0 V6 Targa NISSAN 300 ZX T BAR NISSAN 300 ZX 3.0 V6 Twin Turbo I just thought you chose twin turbo or naturally aspirated. Would fitting a BOV change the turbo vacuum pressure? Mine used to be miles to the left, but today i noticed it was only on the first line to the left of 0. is this normal or is there a problem?

any one got any idea why a zed would dump loads of water out the expansion tank , then temp guage right up , then after she cooled down a bit and refilled with water , she runs fine again ?? has happened twice in 6 months but no pipes leaking and as soon as refilled ,temp guage goes back to norm and she runs as sweet as ever !! ???? im very confused

I'm taking the box off to look at a clutch problem and I've heard you can get an uprated fork. Where from and how much? Can't see any about. Might even be the fork that's snapped - haven't got underneath for a look yet.

On standard internal's what options would i have for turbo upgrade. TD04/05s seem popular but what about hks apex'i or blitz?

Can anyone give me some advice on my gearbox problem. 94 Jap TT auto, does not change up from D2 to D3. D1 and D2 appears to be working fine. The electronic diagnosis check give an all clear signal. I think its a sticking soleniod valve, but not sure how to check. :shock:

Could it be the P.T.U starting to give up, need to change it to the newer type where can i get one from please. stalling when turning a corner but starting as soon as you turn the key.

Hi All, Just went down to Watford yesterday to see a black manual Z32 TT. Took two hours to get there from Cambridge, and then I couldn't find the place I was going too so it was an additional half hour. I was really starting to wonder whether or not it was worth the effort, and thoughts like, "After all this is it going to be yet another crappy Z with scratched paintwork and a dodgy interior?" kept going through my head... especially because it had started raining after I left home and just kept getting worse. When i put my foot down and accelerate hard i get a puff of smoke from the exhaust. Doesnt do it gently excelarating or normall driving just when i floor it, doesnt keep smoking just for the initial few secs. Any ideas ? :)

Anyone ever tried this? Saw it in halfords, the can says for professional/off road use only, but surely if they (as they say) glow the bulb colour after whats the problem? Just wondering if this stuff is any good...I quite fancy the rear panel being dark...

Did an oil change today, took the nut off and only about 3/4 of a litre of oil came out. I have checked the oil before but never had the impression it was low like that. Put the new oil in (theres a sump leak) and the ticking stopped (it was previously thought this was fuel injectors), when we turned the car on there was smoke coming out of the left exhaust. It stopped when the car warmed up. Seems like it could be something quite bad my mate reckons, damage by a lack of oil. Theres now a certain rattle which my mate says sounds a bit 'cammy' at certain revs when you wind up the engine Any ideas anyone?
