Hi can anyone tell me if there are any places in the uk that i can buy a vented GRP/Fibreglass bonnet from. Im not struck on the look of carbon fibre, so i was wanting one i can paint to match my car. Any Links would be good, Cheers

Hi, Does anyone know how to remove aliasing on a picture, is it possible at all? I need to improve the quality of the graph below: I can replace the text, so that's not an issue. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Shaun

The above stuff is recommended for sealing the water pipes flanges when refitting them, but I cannot find the stuff anywhere, I tried Ebay but the only suppliers for the stuff is America. If somebody could either direct me to a UK Supplier or an equivalent. Thankyou.

Is it Zed compatible? There's an RX7 which is due to be seized by customs for non payment of duty. Now it's been sat for a year now, but has a gorgeous set of 18" Stila split rims on it. Been talking to a few of the dockers here about having them and paying the small amount of duty on them. Would it work stud pattern size?

I've got my rad out at the moment whilst doing the front water pipes and I have noticed that the condensor for the air conditioning must have a huge affect on the radiators efficiency as it sits in front of the radiator, restricting air flow considerably. My air con has been junked already (no compressor etc), so is there any reason I should leave the condensor in place? I'm sure if I take it out the car will run better/cooler, this can't be a bad thing considering how hot the engine runs. :confused: :confused: Anyone out there removed theirs? Thanks, Gareth

My insurance renewel is coming up in the next couple of weeks & i wondered if anyone can give me an idea of the best (cheapest) company to use. I'm 27 & have 6 years no claims bonus. At last i managed to blow the cobwebs out the Zed yesterday; only been about 4 months since i went out in her. All i can say is wwwwwwwwwwwwwtttttttffffffffffffffffffffffffffffk. I cant even after owner her for nearly a year get over how fast the beast is. When I bought the car from Side Show Bob i guess i was a bit nervous of it what with driving with hand controls because you can either go or stop, no inbetween if you know what i mean.! :mac1: She has a computer thingy that doe 0-60 1/4 mile standing start and speed at 1/4 mile. so i had a go at setting it up ........... Results according to the comp were: 0-60 in 6.01 sec. 1/4 mile 14.8…

Can anyone tell me what the rev limit is on a unchipped TT? I get a missfire at 4-5000 rpm. Its a jap spec but with a uk clock.And i was wondering if this has anything to do with it. Thanks Steve

Would like to replace the speedo cluster etc. with the after market white/blue glow dials. Has anyone fitted them before ? If yes how hard/easy is it to install ? Unfortunately there seems to be no fitting instructions with these gadgets hence the cry for help. Do I need to take the steering wheel out for the cluster to come out or is there enough clearance with the steering on ? I am worried also about wiring them up for the glow as haven't got a clueeeeeeeee on electricals. Finally if its not worth the hassle then please let me know and I'll never mention this again ! Ok, so i've done some searches but it just goes round in circles, lol. For the engine. What to use??? 5-40, 5-50, 10-60....??? Gearbox, I read Redline MT90 3.1litres of it. Is this easy to change as well? Diff, 2.9litres of.......??? Is this easy to change?? Thanks

I have a friend with an aston martin DB7 with split rim wheels fitted. On the outer rim of the wheels the lacker has fallen off and its in need of a full strip down and refurb, he has tried several companys who refurb wheels and they have all said that they wont touch split rims. does any one know of a good company that could take this job on? cheers john d

When buying an FMIC for the zed, do you need to have twin entry and exit pipes? Or could you make do with a single entry/exit pipe? Did that make any sense? Scotty

This has come up a few times so I thought I'd take a few pics and measure up the 90 degree elbow I used to fit a sender unit in the 10mm hole near the oil filter. The problem if fitting the sender straight into the hole is it will foul on the steering arm. To get round this I used a 90 degree elbow which is roughly 1"x"1 and a male to female. For my sender unit it was a 1/8" NPT fitting which I think is pretty standard. Wrap PTFE around the male ends about 3-4 times to make a tight fit. Hope this helps. Vijay

In all my wisdom I have decided to replace the cam belt while I am in there please can somebody advise?? do you need to turn the engine into a certain position etc, any diagrams and technical advice will be much appreiciated as I have got stuck right in now. :bow: :bow:

I have got right into all this stripping and removing this after I thought it was the 2 pipes into the cam shaft that was leaking it may actually be the water pump which I am in the process of removing. I just need to get ridd of the bottom plastic cover thats behind the large bottom cog, anybody done this who can give the secret?? I have un done all the 8mm bolts I can see (they are very rusty) is it just a case of wiggling it or has somebody got a diagram of all the bolts fixing it in case I have missed one. Thanks

has anyone home-made a air filter splashguard? im looking thru the forums and most people with after market air filters seem to have a splash guard..my engine plastic tray is gone too..has anyone made any of these items? is it recommended to get proper nissan part or cut something out of plastic? :confused: I would like to be able to take my car out in the rain and not have to wory about it sucking in water
