As above, as today when I finnaly managed to pull my wiper arms off I noticed there was a fair bit of play in the passenger side wiper arm?? I have looked into the gap where the mechanism is but nothing really jumps out at me to why it wobbles so. Some times I used to notice when the wipers where on the passenger side one would come dowm over the scuttle when I turned the wipers off.?? Thanks in advance guys.

Sorry if all these questions have been covered elsewhere, but I did do several searches and couldn't really find any decent answers :o Are there any differences between the gearboxes in turbo and NA Z32's? Or are they identical? I've been told by a few people that there're several areas of the Z32 chassis which is basically identical to the R32 Skyline and other Nissan platforms. Can anyone tell me exactly what parts are interchangeable? Muchas gracias :D

I know it's not a Z but has anyone tried this (more conventional) type of DV fittment? Don't see why it wouldn't work albeit a bit tight for space, but atleast they'd be in view.

I have these all round on my japanese import ZX and Zedworld who drove the car said the car is light on the back which i agree. Anyone know of these tyres and if they are any good? They seem to have bugger all grip in the wet. I am tempted to get some popular Goodyear Eagle tyres.

after doing a search re the crankshaft, iv found a few threads where people have expressed concerns of lightened pulleys and flywheels affecting the resonance of the crank. this did seem to be a small possibility. I have a set of unorthodox pulleys and a fidanza flywheel to go on - could someone explain whether a balanced crank will be a benefit in this situation? just trying to work out if this is worth doing or if im just overcomplicating things! ta mowgs

Hi guys, my zed is coming up for it's next service, is there anyone around the plymouth area who could do it, that i can trust!, while it's in for the service i need new pads all round too, this is the first service since i owned it should i do anything else apart from engine oil & filter?. Are these jobs i could do myself? im quiet handy with a spanner :smw: What i need to know is: what oil to use? what filters do i need? what brake pads to use?.. Also i have an idle problem, when coming upto a junction or a stop my revs will drop to 0-100 and then pop back upto 1000 rpm then the engine hunts half a dozen times before it settles down, sometimes …

Well she failed her MOT...for reasons below: 1. No rear fog light. I knew that but I suppose was hoping he would not notice as I have not had time to do it. 2. Some play in the rear suspension joint where it goes into the HICAS arms. 3. Emmissions...my CO was high. Limit is 3.5000 and mine was 4.953. Can anyone tell me why my CO is high? What would cause that? Is it that he just did not warm the car up properly as I still have the CAT on my car... Help on number 3 would be appreciated... Anyone know where I can get the bushes\joint for number 2? Cheers guys..

I know some of you know i have a bit of a dillema with my engine at the mo.. anyway rather than get the big end bearing and crank replaced ive been looking into getting a recon engine in exchange instead. After all i dont know what other damage my Zeds motors got wrong with it.it had a rebuild under 30,000 miles back but has gone wrong again.Either the bearings were not replaced first time or somebody has treated it badly since the rebuild. Ive came across this company who have offered this service http://www.enginesdirect.com/index.shtml for a recon 300ZX TT engine for 1795.00 inc vat fitted.Obviously all the ancillaries will come from my engine but has a…

Guys attached are some scans I have just done from a killer find in the US. Turbo magazine to celebrate its 20th Anniversary have re-run its 1992 article on the bonneville record setting 300zx's :) The legendary 1991 Jun & Blitz cars. These were 800bhp+ monsters that show that even though skylines sometimes seem to have the edge on power, you cannot beat good aerodynamics from the off. Read the sidebars and imagine how sick the guy in the twin turbo ferrari testarossa special must have been to be toasted by our Japanese friends  !!! LOL Enjoy
