Hi, Wonder if any body can shed any light on this for me. :confused: Set the TPS at 0.42v. Removed the g/box sump, drained the oil, cleaned the filter and new oil fitted. Disconnected the battery to clear any stored codes. Gearbox was rebuilt a few years back, by a specialist. Now here comes the problem !! :rolleyes: When driving normally, and engine at normal temp, she changes gear at 3000rpm, and a little bit too severe for my liking. Also when picking away from lights or a junction, she seems to rev a bit higher than she seems to be moving !! hi guys, fitted my new blitz sonic induction kit today because my HKS one was really dirty and torn,when i took the rubber t-piece off from under the headlight panel i looked inside and there was a gritty, oily black residue inside the nearside pipe!! :headvswal i could understand if it was in both sides because the HKS filter was torn and not in the best shape but in wasnt,the other side is bone dry and really clean.i took the hard pipe off that my bov is on (nearside also)and its in there too but not gritty,just oily and black!! Does anyone know what this could be and if my car is on a death sentence?? Please Please help!!!!! thanks

I have the part which Nissan have given me but knowing how useless the parts departments are i'm not too sure because inside the instructions say it is made to fit Tokico cylinder. :confused: Thanks in advance. Hi , Changed the autobox on my jspec, & since this the car came to a hault after about 200miles or so. Lost confidence in the autobox specialist who fit the box after he put the wrong oil in. I took it to a friend , who dropped the pan & changed the oil & Cleaned everything & flushed it out ( he found a foreign body like some spongy material hanging from the oil strainer ) After this was removed & put back together & filled with oil, the car drove perfectly, went through all gears up & down & kick down it drove A1. Im fitting some new front discs and pads tomorrow i brought some blue print [ADL] front discs and some project u street pads [jap make ].Does anyone know if these discs are any good thanks taff.

How well does the z centre factory rear replica fibreglass rear spoiler fit and is it the same part for both 2x2 and swb thanks taff.

Are swb rear quarter windows diffrent than the 2x2 model they look diffrent in the pics ive seen just checking .I havent broken one but my mate who works for autoglass said good luck on getting any glass for the swb model .I know the tailgate is diffrent does that mean the rear screen is diffrent thanks taff.

It's the bearing in the front where the kingpin enters. Is it possible to just replace the bearing? Called Nissan and they said that I had to replace the hole part (the third link or whatever it's called) What I need is the bearing that is inside the kingpin housing. Do I need to buy the third link or is it possible to just get the bearing?

Car currently is having exhausts fitted. What would it mean if my Lamda/oxygen sensors weren't fitted, would it cause any problems??? How do you connect them to a car with mid pipes from the Zcenter with no place to connect them? is there any get arounds?

Hi, I have a UK TT, but my car has a JAP spoiler on it, as the original uk one was bubbling so andy z, the guy I got the car from, changed it to the JAP one. I just bought some new decals for the back, A twin turbo and Fairlady Z badge for it. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the correct placing for the Twin Turbo badge on the back. I would need the distance from the inside of the spoiler, the distance from the left etc Thanks, Chris

Hi To you all. I have been wanting to get rid of those ugly uk zed rear fog lights for a while now..As the car is white, the bumper with the red fog lights just spoil the look of the back of the car. The body shop where the car is told me covering them up would not be a good long term option. Therefore can i get a jap spec bumper and fit my uk zed perfecdtly or can you get frosted lamp covers etc to cover em up and transfer a fog light to beside my brake light ... thanks Mark

Just a general question. Whats the difference between spark plugs ie, platinum, iridium and standard? Or will I answer it myself as the materials are different? Which ones are more suited towards my car which will have uprated boost, ECU etc in a month or so. TIA Dave G

In my previous car (200sx s14) everyone raved all the time about swapping out intercoolers, getting big FMIC and uprated wing coolers etc.. doesnt seem to be such a flavour for this on zeds, yet the coolers appear very small to me (smaller than my s14 stock one was i think). Any ideas why that is? and also would a pair of s14 stock wing coolers be better than stock zed ones if your running towards 15 psi thanks andy

Morning all, noticed my zeds starting to smoke pretty badly, if window is open and your sat in traffic you sorta start choking on the smell. Notice a puff if your boot it - throttle off then touch the accelerator again. Im thinking its turbo seals but would that cause smoking under fairly normal driving??? If it is turbo seals - any idea on how much to get them replaced? Cheers

i have a greedy profec b 2 boost controller but when i set it to hi i get a boost spike to about 16 psi and then it drops to about 14.5, how do i cure this? i want to run about 15.5-16 psi with no spike the settings im using at the moment are set = 33 Gain = 21 set gain = 85 warning = 165 drop = 20 cheers in advance!
