After installing my Apexi induction and planning for new intercoolers, I had a wee look at the front end. The apexi isnt receiving as much air as it could as there is a plastic tray underneath it and loads of plastic infront of it. (More worried about the intercooler when I buy/install. Is there any major reason why I shouldnt get my bodyshop to cut a section out of the front and mesh it. I would undoubedly get it done so that if I decide for a frount mount intercooler, it could simply fit into the hole already cut. Saves time, money and respray. Also does anyone have any pictures of this done already?? Thanks, Dave G

Has anyone fitted a double Din into their Z. I know there is space for 2 Single Dins. I think that cutting the plastic inbetween the 2 dins would leave a gap too big. Would the standard metal bracket that fastens the single din work with a double din?? Or has anyone not tried this before? TIA Dave G

I have '90' TT, which i recently hit a roundabout in! Iv'e noticed lately that when i corner a little hard, the column moves to 1 side or the other about 10-15 mm. I had a quick look, and noticed it has alu slides which dont really grip the column? Anyway, for now, iv'e thrown out the slides & fitted big washers. Is there something i'm missing? or do i need new alu inserts? Thanks in advance for any help, Steve

I have just booked in to Z tech to have the aggressor chip put on my Z. I was so overly excited by the price after what other companies had quoted (some were £650 for a piggy back and mapping)that I didnt really understand what I was being told about it as I was jumping round the room! :hyper: I know Z tech are a good company and I wont have problems but what gains have others seen from this upgrade?

Hello fellow Z enthusiasts. I have a TT auto 91 import....heres my problem with her  I recently blew the auto box and had this replaced with a second hand unit, since this (I mention the above although it could be coincidental) I get erratic tick over in drive and reverse only when stationary!!If I let the car roll then the revs settle down straight away, apply the brake and draw to a halt and the revs fluctuate sometimes to 300rpm and even to stall! I have changed the IAA valve and cleaned up all the contacts too.I have also cleaned up the TPS connectors too.Once under way the car acts perfectly and seems to be working fine, come to a T junction a…

Hello, Ive got a wierd problem with my steering / wheel , if im driving below 60mph the steering wheel is straight and all is fine, but as soon as i go above 60 the steering wheel moves to the right, like my trackings out. the car still drives in a straight line but the steering wheel is off centre. My first thought was my HICAS system as my light comes on, so i disabled it by removing the Multiblock and putting a connector in there. I still have the problem its getting a bit annoying now. What should my next course of action be?? Thanks Jamie :D

Hi, Wonder if any body can shed any light on this for me. Set the TPS at 0.42v. Removed the g/box sump, drained the oil, cleaned the filter and new oil fitted. Disconnected the battery to clear any stored codes. Gearbox was rebuilt a few years back, by a specialist. Now here comes the problem !! When driving normally, and engine at normal temp, she changes gear at 3000rpm, and a little bit too severe for my liking. Also when picking away from lights or a junction, she seems to rev a bit higher than she seems to be moving !! If that makes sense ! Over the pit at work, I noticed there was a few square dr…

Can someone help me please. I'm looking for the correct part number for brake master cylinder repair kit (piston) for Nissan 300zx tt 1991 with Nabco master cylinder. I have the part which Nissan have given me but knowing how useless the parts departments are i'm not too sure because inside the instructions say it is made to fit Tokico cylinder. Thanks in advance. Paul.
