hi. i have a 1990 na jap car.i am going to get the tracking sorted out and was wondering if a na car needs the rear wheels tracked,as i am told na's don,t have rear wheel steering.is this true?. many thanks.

My car has started running really rough recently. Its fine on short distances but after 10-15 mins it starts misfiring and trying to stall. The last time it did it the car died and wouldn't restart so i disconnected the MAS to see if that would get me home (puts it into a sort of safety mode i believe) and the car started and ran, but ran rough below 2000rpm(is that normal?). I presume it is the MAS playing up or could it be something else that is ignored when i disconnect the MAS plug? Also if it is the MAS then its the second one that has gone in 3 years, the last one being a brand new one from nissan. What could be causing them to break? :headvswal …

Hi all, When I pull away my car makes a noise when I lift my foot of the clutch, only notice the noise in 1st and 2nd. Could it be the clutch trowout bearings making a noise? Regards, Matt

Basically what does the PTU do and what is the difference between 1 and 2. Lots of posts and searching for it hasnt really made it clear why upgrading was an advantage..? Dumb q? im sure thanks guys

I know its a small tiny thing but where do I buy a Sump plug copper washer for my oil change? I looked at courtesy parts but they want a arm and a leg for shipping! I live in London and cant seem to find one..even on ebay..I emailed one of the traders in here but never got a reply...any help or advice would be great!

Hi people, Tried to start the Z up yesterday but battery seemed flat, so I got the jump leads etc etc and it started up straight away. I let it run for a few minutes and then decided to take it for a run. When I move forward and through the gears the Hicas & ABS light flash now and again and as you pick up speed it started jumping like a miss fire or fuel problem, so I decided to turn around and not risk further damage but I have no idea what has happened to it, seemed fine the week before, any ideas at all or have I fried the ECU but jumping it with the leads?. Guys - me & a friend are planning on taking out the engine of my 300 & doing some work. Question - i there anything we need to watch out for whilst doing this - I.e. extra hoses/connections? i'm reading up on the engine removal FAQ in the FAQ storage/Engine area but question is - mines an Auto - what else is there thats not in the FAQ? Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated. J

Tomorrow it's going in for rear boxes and getting the rear resinators removed. What size tip shall i go for??? i want it to be big but not over the top. but keeping in mind there will be one each side of the car. i've got choice of 4" or 5" i really wanted a 4.5" but i've already got 4" and i wanted it to be bigger but 5" may be too big. has anyone got any pics of a 5" each side?

fellas , please help if anybody has a 99 spec front end fitted can they measure the dimensions of the opening in the centre air intake height and width ....metric or imperial doesnt matter im old enough to understand both , i would do it myself but my zed is 3000miles away ........ cheers guys , cant wait to get back to sunny Morecambe ..im freezing my nutz off out here and a penguin just bit my aris ..... :)

Neighbour has a L reg BMW 318, tried to open elec window when still frozen now doesn't work. Didn't have time to really investigate but could still here a click coming from inside the door when pressing the button, any thoughts greatly appreciated. Cheers Dave

anyone got pics of a zed with the rear bumper off? i need to see how far the mounts stick out from the car so i need side on photos or as close as and front on rear pics, just what ever you have really. thanx

Hi, im looking for a fan shroud but dont want to pay for the carbon one as im planning on spraying it the same red flip colour as my car, would a fibreglass one be affected by the heat of the engine. has anyone ever made one and could anyone give me any advice on makeing one or moulding shapes from fibreglass or any other similar product. any advice and coments apreciated. cheers si

not zed related but does anyone know how to get the damn fuel filter off theve used silly plastic clips on the fuel lines looks like ya have to squeeze and pull but dont want to break em :(

mm Mi Zed has decided to run like a camel when cold,if I floor it it misses holds back then pops and jerks nearly breaking mi neck and wont go under full load, light throttle is the only way it will go, did it tonight and yesterday.. I swapped my spare ptu thinking it could be that be still same??? could it be the CAS unit or maybe its a sparkplug breaking down when getting full juice on them cold?? anybody else had this?? cheers richard
