Happily driving along when I notice a constant reading of 25psi on my oil pressure guage (its an aftermarket one not the often faulty original equipment one) whilst cruising along. Going on what ive been told the reading should be between 30-60 on a warm engine and it usually sits at 50 most of the time obviously up a bit when I accellerate with aggression. I pulled over to look under bonnet and there is a fair amount of oil splatted in the top right corner over the battery, fuel filter, the hoses there, and the underside of the bonnet. I need to sell my zed to raise some cash and I just wondered if anyone could give me a rough idea of how much they think it might be worth. It's a '93 series 2 Uk spec TT Auto in white, completely standard,leather is in excellent condition,interior immaculate,history,reconditioned turbo's by turboforce,Preston, that are now as brand new, some rust on back of the sills but nothing too major. The main problem is that the car is running but keeps overheating and due to my financial situation I simply cannot afford to spend any cash fixing it. There are photo's in my rides section if anyone wants to look. I'd really appreciate any info you guys could give me! :D

Hi Guys......audio isn't really my thing but I 've a problem and it's driving me nuts....... I had, in the car a sony head unit, all channels feeding out on rca jacks to an amp in the boot.....then to the speakers :hyper: this worked brilliantly no noise and good sound reproduction. I have Kakimoto exhausts one each side they have few holes in them and the insides (bafils?) are totalled looks like a birds nest inside. Would i be loosing much power from this and make the car run abit rough? When i get these replaced is it worth getting x pipes aswell as i've heard they are good on non turbo cars but on a turbo not worth it. Just need some more info on this really.

i'm having some new turbos fitted towards the end of the month, is it worth getting my original ones reconditioned to sell? how much are they worth? they will have all paper work to say tested and recons.

Hi Guyz Back end of my Z has been wobbling around for some time now and there is a little play in the back wheels (was mentioned at last MOT). So Ive decided that i am going to do some work to stiffen her up abit. Here's what I have got planned so far: * Remove HICAS (because I want to, end of story :nelson: ) * Replace all shocks & springs (KYB's uprated non-adj & Eibach Springs) What else could be causing the wobble that i can replace bearing in mind everything is stock at the mo?

Hi Guys, For a while now the horn has been working on and off, but today was going down the road and it came on by itself and was on continously! I pulled the relay out and left her in the pub car park....when i came out the drivers side main beam was on, but only on on that side! I got home and turned the engine off and the drivers side main beam was flickering on and off and i could hear the relay in the fuse box tapping away. I decided to put the horn relay back in and now when i beep the horn the drivers side main beam flashes as well!! Anyone had this? Also my windscreen washers dont work either, so im wondering whether i need to replace some of t…

As above. I have fitted a Top hose hard pipe kit the other day and it wouldn't work. I wouldn't give a reading. So today i thoght to have a look and wonderd if it was an earthing problem. So i decided to take a wire from the pipe to body. This then gave me a reading. I thought great, thats the problem. :hyper: . So i fitted an earth to the sender. This then sent my reading to show full temp constantly(going straight to earth). Has anyone else had this problem. I have solved it at the moment by attaching my wire to body and having a crimp connection on the other,tucked in under the silicone piping :headvswal. Any ideas lads LOL ;)

My zed pops a lot from the exhausts when you accellerate and come off throttle, obviously more so the harder you accellerate / the further up the rev range you go. For example, if you accellerate briskly in third gear up to around 5,000rpm and come off throttle, as the revs come down you generally get 4 or 5 pops from the exhausts. Id say its more prominent now the weather is colder. Personally I was quite happy with it as I was (still am I think) of the opinion that this was fairly normal for a car of this nature and with the spec that it has. But today I took my brother, a NA owner for three years, out for a drive today and he thinks that it shouldnt be doing it as much…

I want to move the side light from the fog light to the secondary sections in the indicators. Now iirc, the US spec cars have them in this section too. Looking at the backing, there's recess plates already there. Is it litterally a job of just drilling this and the side light bulb holders slot in as per the fog lights or is there more work?

Wondered if anyone could help i smashed car up yesterday damage is front wing bonnet front bummper steering rack front bottom arm anit roll bar rear hub asembly drive shaft possibly back axal (damaged to small lugs near shocker mounting) The car is 1990 tt auto jap import So my question is is it worth repairing or brake it if i were to brake it what are the avarage prices i should be looking at for part thanks in advance steve

Well its great to be back in the UK and Zeding again, however I knew I had to do the Matrix whilst i'm back as when I left in the summer the interior was getting flooded with coolant. Just got the matrix out, only took 2.5 hours, far quicker than the last time when i removed the dash! Anway just done a pressure test and its not the Matrix but the valve on the side thats gone. As I bought my matrix in the states the shaft on the valve is round the wrong way. Has anyone switched the shaft before and had no leaks? Also can you just buy the valve from nissan UK? Thanks Andy
