Hi, Central locking not working from inside the car or outside. Before I start to investigate, is there any common causes for this ?? Fuses, (1st choice) or relays, switch etc. Any pointers would be gratefully appreciated. Cheers, Alan......

Hello and Marry Christmas. My name is Sahir and am new at 300zx.co.uk My Vehicle :- 1990 H rg UK speck TT Manual. I have bought a Universal Lambo Door kit, has anyone here fitted one on your 300zx. How much work is there in it. What is it that we have to do. Bearing in my ive already kitted my fairlady up. Ive been told that the wing needs coming out. So does that mean i will have to take my sideskirts off, as i have blended my side skirt with the body. What is the best advise and best way to do it. I have a problem with my TT rear suspension, the driveshaft refuses to leave the hub. It's stuck. Yes, I removed the 36mm nut, and then used a press to apply pressure on the driveshaft. After 3 tons of pressure still no movement. Anyone know how to solve this? And is this a typical 300zx problem? I had no problems with previous z32 NA and 200sx driveshafts, that use the same hub. It's not so bad if the driveshaft is stuck in the hub, as long as the axle can be removed from the joint on the wheel side. But this is stuck too. After I removed the bootband's side c-clip (as seen in the pic) the axle did allow some play towards the hub, but not further back. The manu…

Hi Guys, I am a new member, MashFace300zx. My name is Marc. Due to the fact that I use a van all week for my business, and have access to my wifes frugal ford KA I have decided that I would like to get myself a little plaything, a 300zx TT. To be honest, I wont be using it during the week as I have my work van, and for most day to day things we use the wife's KA, but i like the idea of getting the 300 zed out on a weekend for a blat  I have been looking at 300zx turbos now for near on a year, and i have found a suitable candidate, i am yet to decide what the seller wants to do as he has lost interest in it. Its a manual JAP SPEC SWB 300zxTT i…

Does anyone know whether MK2 MR2 alloys have a similiar pattern / offset to fit onto a 300zx. I kept a set of 17" Arospeed RS GTs from my old MR2, saves me money from buying new alloys if these fit. Just get some better rubber onto it. TIA, Dave G

On saturday I did a small run in my car (about 4 miles) to try my new ecu chip. When I got back home I noticed that the car dropped about a cup of water on the drive whilst I opened the garage door. When in the garage I realised the engine sounded really rattley on the top end so I switched it off (temperature gauge still on normal though). It made quite a lot of gurgling and hissing sounds around the balance bar area, the leak continued for a short while. I topped up the radiator (it needed lots to top up), and decided to leave it to cool down before I looked for the fault. Yesterday I went into the garage to start investigations and it looked like the leak had co…

...can I use the same oil that goes in the gearbox for the diff. I've just changed the gearbox oil and bought 4 litres (£10 a litre) as it (officially) takes 3.1 litres - and it does - so I've got £9's worth of Millers oil remaining and if it can be used in the diff I'll be pleased - otherwise it sits on the shelf forever... Morning people, Please read the link http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=59355 I've not had the time nor the money to look at this yet being crimbo, getting married in 6 months and skint. However, something else happend this morning. I pulled out of a junction from a stand still and turned right onto a damp(ish) road with almost zero throttle. It felt like the near side front wheel sort of tucked slightly under the car (if you know what I mean) a the rear came straight out propper drifting stylye doing probably no more than 10mph  Also the car seems to track badly down white lines and joins in the tarmac, seems to do it worse on t…
