Ive been offered a full engine, turbos with all ancillaries for £800. it has 60000miles and can be heard running. is this a good price? also how hard are conzults to come by?

Got a Momo Race, and if you just fit the wheel it has 6 countersunk holes for 6 presumably countersunk hex screws. But. . . This momo comes with a ring thats not countersunk?? So do I just fit the ring over and not worry about the countersunk holes on the steering wheel? Little worried coz I thought that if I fit the ring and not use the countersunk holes there could be some play and under bad conditions could even be play and crack screws??? If that makes any sense.

Im due to have some wheels delivered but the guy organising delivery needs to no estimated weight of one alloy wheel and tyre, help!!!!

My ZX seems to love getting dirty quickly, well it is winter. I want to get a powerwasher with enough poke to clean and remove a bit of crap from around the wheels. Are the Halfords ones any good or where else could i get one. :hyper:

I'm thinking of doing a top end rebuild due to a tapping sound from the left bank rear. I was hoping to do this without pulling the lump. Has anyone done a top end rebuild in situe, if so what are the pitfalls.

Ive just got some new bulbs for my side/headlights, but am confused how to get access to my sidelights... ive loosened the screw on the front left of the light but nothing seems to be happening.. ? the light appears to be in 3 parts, main section then like plasitc wings either side on witha screw in? Im obviously making this more difficult than it needs to be so seeking help.. also before i co*K up doing my dipped bulbs any advice on an easy way to do those... cheers all

Not sure if it is but for some reason when i floor it with the boost on in 1st and 2nd the car pulls well but when i'm in 3rd and floor it boost kicks in and it feels like the clutch slips...does this mean it's on it's way out?

Anybody had success with this halfrauds tool? Just want to know if it will do the job.

OK, new alternator fitted for just over a week and then the other day I got this continuous squeeling from the engine bay. Lifted the bonnet and it was definately a belt slipping but couldn't determine which one. I'm pretty sure the belt was good and tight when I fitted it and I used the old belt (it seemed in good nick) so there shouldn't be any stretch. Having thought about it, I think it manifested itself when I hit the demist (and hence the air con kicked in). Since then, there's been no noise but some faint burning smell from the front after a drive. The air con still works and the pulley clutch seems to kick in but it does have a slight wobble in the pu…

Just purchased a grey jap import twin turbo manual 300 and have got a few teething problems and wondered if you guys could help the indicators are flahing very fast and the lights arent working on main beam any ideas also where does the temp guage sit on normal driving as mine seems very low just above the cold mark all the heating seems to be okay though cheers wade

Hi guys, I've searched but cannot find a recent post which specified the Tamiya differential gear part number which is required to fix the headlight adjusters. I must be going blind! How many sets do I need, can anyone tell me where I can get them and approximately how much to expect to pay for them. Many thanks for your time! Dan

Hi, im going to change my ecu chip, ecu is socketed so is it just a case of pulling old one out and pushing new one in using a insertion/extraction clipper or is it more complicated, do i need to use a earth strap? thanx
