Ive tried to pry the rear rectangular and the front oval speaker covers of without being to aggressive and i aint had any luck. How do i get these covers off? Do i have to wedge a flat blade in at some point to pop a catch? I have some new 6x4 speakers for the rear as the current ones are shot or were always really crap. Cant figure out how to get the covers off.

I have a pair of brand new indicator/ side light lenses which use silver bulbs, but what I need to know is what does the bulb holders look like as on my old ones they where just indicators. I have the large hole for the indicator and just beside it is a smaller hole for the side lights. Is there such a connection for both bulbs?? They where originally bought for a front bumper that did not have holes for the side lights. Thanks in advance. ;)

Anyone know much about the Nisstek ECU chips on e-bay at the moment? There's some very interesting dyno comparisons between them and the JWT chip (which I'm about to fit). Some parts of the dyno graphs show 40bhp improvement over the JWT!. I'm now not sure whether one of these chips may be a better long term prospect. Cheers Gareth linky...

Hi all, the question is in the titel: what's your experience JW-chip vs SuperChip? Won't install the Twinchip soon (better version than superchip, but mostly unknown in the US, so i guess here neither, that's why i say super instead of twin). Just wanna know to make me a better image about the chips. I'm not talking about power, they are +/- all the same, i'm talking about long-live engine with the chips. . . thnks in advance ;) cheers, BS

hi all im at this very minute stipping bits off my car and cleaning and spraying things.. my zed is a tt superchiped, running 1.0 psi boost etc... everything was going great until it started to stall at round abouts when you dip the clutch.. ive looked through all the techs, so im now cleaning the tps, cleaned my throttle bodies, cleaned the ptu connectors, cleaned out the idle thingy at the back etc.. and just inspecting the plugs which are pfr6b 11b and are clean but black... the car is also , stumbling when you ease off the accelerator and your just crusing , its sort of spluttering a little, the car accelerates fine.. i have a spare set of plugs w…

I am looking to upgrade the tweed interior on my zed as its the only thing letting the car down. I am considering the following options and would appreciate opnions, advice, and ideas: - - USED LEATHER INTERIOR, £250 gets me front and rear seats but at that price they are not in the best condition. For good condition I beleive I am looking at double that. In which case... - Z CENTRE BRAND NEW LEATHER SEAT COVERS AND TRIM, I beleive from memory this is £750 unfitted and obviously involves removing all the tweed off the seats and rest of interior and putting the new stuff on which makes me think maybe its a professional job? In which case... - PROFESSIONAL RE…

got moving after engine rebuild... took 2 years, of which one was lost after engine meltdown on dyno and ensuing legal issues- to make a long story short, I had to pay for all damage and decided to rebuild with jun internals.Obviously ,I turned to other people for my actual setup. Now I am driving with breaking-in mapping ( rpm cutoff at 6200,timing retarded) 555 cc nismo injectors(already installed before fatal dyno), rps flywheel, rps street max clutch. further pentroof manifolds, td05-16g,twin intake without maf sensors(converting temp and pressure to voltage data),eprom swap on main ecu + unichip piggyback. figures look promising with 480 flywheel hp and 599…

For all of you that have R33/34 Brembos. Ive had mine for about 3 years and had tried everything to stop them squealing. Different pads and discs made no difference and even the boys on the gtr forum were stumped as what to do. Ryan at Z tech has just fitted his new anti-squeal shims in and NO MORE SQUEAL!!! This is a must for anyone with this upgrade. :hyper:

Just got my car back from its 60k service, well cambelt kit and aux belts ( I do my own fluid changes) but simply didnt have the time or the bravery for the cambelt job. I can now floor the car with cofidence, not worrying that the belt may break, despite very strict servicing intervals, had its first cambelt at 80,000km and this one at 154,000km (approx 90,000 miles). Best thing about it was the cost, I got the whole lot done for about £250, and didnt have to get my hands dirty! Just need to change my oil this weekend (even though the last one was about 1,000 miles ago! and she'll be all ready to sit in the garage for the rest of the winter!!!!)
