Universal Lambo Door Kit

Hello and Marry Christmas.

My name is Sahir and am new at 300zx.co.uk

My Vehicle :- 1990 H rg UK speck TT Manual.

I have bought a Universal Lambo Door kit, has anyone here fitted one on your 300zx.

How much work is there in it. What is it that we have to do. Bearing in my ive already kitted my fairlady up.

Ive been told that the wing needs coming out. So does that mean i will have to take my sideskirts off, as i have blended my side skirt with the body.

What is the best advise and best way to do it.

Thank You

Marry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

oh god.. how many more times..

if you have got the vdc kit, then be carefull as the wobble of them is bad and if its a copy then i wouldnt fit it either way, the metal is of such poor quality the copies will just wobble and snap.

the only one strong enough and of best quality to fit is the gt factory kit, i have gone into great depth reguarding these hinges and the benefits of fitting them compared to other kits.

i suggest you do a search reguarding the gt factory hinges and you will find all the info you need.

one other thing you shouldnt weld the dorr plate/foot directly to the door skin on its own the door metal isnt strong enough, it will need reinforcing, one of the best ways is to make a bolt on shoe that the hinge foot welds to allowing you to bolt it to the door.
