I am looking at buying a Zed which has been off the road for a few years, aaprt from all the usual rubber hose deterioation & sticky brakes etc, is there anything specific on the 300 that I should be paying close attention to?? :eek:

 

BTW, it is a 92 UK Manual TT.

PTUs seem to die after laying unused for a while...

timing belt is worth replacing and get accessory belts changed

If its a UK car and its been stood outside, then best give it a good once over underneath and around the sills and arches for the dreaded tin worm. Perished bushes on the suspension components as well maybe.
