Are the OEM front rotors the same on the NA and turbo for a 1990?

Today at 1245 in the car park. J870*** I looked around but saw no-one and then 15 minutes later as I'm walking back to mine I saw the car driving off!

Hi all I've not long ago aquired my first Z (TT auto), I managed to buy a manual for it but find the info I'm after either very hard to find or to be non existent in the manual. Maybe some of you more experienced Z owners can help. a. windscreen wipers, what size do I need (front and rear). I think the rear one fitted at mo is too small. b. tyre pressure c. oils !!! (I know there seems to be a bit of a debate going on about engine oil, but what about power steering, brake fluid etc) d. anti freeze, what % to parts of water Thanks in advance Ern

Guys, Ive had some probs with the electrics lately and i had to pull some fuses out to stop the horn going off etc etc. Anyway, i had to remove one of the headlight fuses as it that also got affected. However when i did this i notice that if i turn my lights on now the small round ones come on as well as the main beam ones on normal driving. Now i noticed that the main beam (square) lights were in fact dipped. Now i didnt know they could operate in a dipped mode, i thought they were for main beam only....am i right in thinking that the small round ones are driving lights and the Square ones next to them (in the same unit) are for main beam only?? Or sh…

hi all just wundrin, i need to take my car in to zedworld when ive stumped up the cash, say 4 weeks or so, and i think im gona need the following done; 1.main crank seal (back) 2.cam belt + water pump 3.leaking high pressure hose to power steering pump (or at least it think thats where it coming from!) 4.strong smell of fuel think its coming from where the supply comes from undernesth the chassis up to the fuel filter. Does anyone know how much this might set me back est. or has anyone had this done and already know how much its gona be any replies gratefull guys!!!! :)

Where would I plump an oil catch can into in engine bay.To what pipes? It has one in and one out.Any help would be appreciated.....Vinz :bow:

Hello guys, My car has just sailed through it's MOT thankfully but I need to change the oil at the weekend. I am going to save some money on garage bills on the basis that this should be about the easiest piece of maintenance. Experience tells me it wont be that simple on a zed - are there any pitfalls? I looked at the technical site and they said I should use a filler cap socket - is this necessary? Finally, I have looked at the discussions about synthetic oils etc - can I get these at any spares shop or do i have to find a specialist stockist? Thanks for your help.

I read somewhere that the first genaration z31s 300zx had a clutch pack type lsd instead of the z32 viscous type i know these diffs are better than the standard z32 viscous type does anybody know if they will fit the z32 or will the internals fit in the casing.Clutch type diffs are good for drifting the AE86 corrolas have a clutch type diff as standard as well.thanks taff

got back from zedworld today had my worst fears diagnosed one of my turbos has had it also turn s out sitting here with a receipt for a cam belt changed 4000klm ago dosnt look as though its had one +other faults that will teach me wot a bummer help :o

Garret T04 turbos will these fit and if so wat mods will i need to do.

I want to check my timing as i think the car is over fueling due to a strong smell of fuel from the exhaust, the car is a JDM TT Auto, been looking for a right up on how to do this on the Z but cant find one, i'm used to working on older cars and am not sure if there is anything different about the Z, any help much appreciated, Dave.

I went to the local Tesco 24 hour supermarket and to the petrol station and asked about 99RON fuel. I might as well asked for asked for enriched plutonium, the old dears did not have a clue. Is there anywhere around north east birmingham that i can get my mits on Tesco 99 RON fuel. And is this better than Shell Optimax?

As you may well know, I have just fitted my new Koyo rad but since then my air con takes ages to warm up is this normal?

on my private runway ofcourse :mac1: right then where to start?? i have had a new engine fitted it was a manual engine but im sure there is minnimal diffrence bettween auto and manual tt engines anyway, because its got all new pistons and bearings in the engine i have'nt been able to over rev it for a few thousand miles, :D fitted a hks alc :hyper: finnaly had a chance to floor it after running it in for 2500 miles everything fine till 125mph then i would hit the rev limiter and no gear change :rant: so i thought it was the alc, i removed that and tried again, still no gear change above 125 :headvswal so i double checked the plug in…

Is the standard one electrical or mechanical?? Mines not reading correct (what should it be for a jap TT?) Its all over the place. Would it be the sender or the gauge??? Or shall I put in an extra oil pressure, temp and boost gauge somewhere else?? And how the hell do you do that?? lol. Electrical or mechanical?? Anyone near Southampton thats done it???

Ok, so I've got an uprated ECU which is currently running JDM fuel mapping....Circa 100RON. Now, I know it's detremental to the health of the engine running a lower grade fuel (super U/L), I am hopefully getting a new chip this weekend...from Mr Dixon if all is well and good. I don't drive my Zed hard, infact, I don't keep it on boost for anymore than about 3 or 4 seconds and I don't boost it that often anyway. It doesn't get used much and I think I've only done a few thousand miles since I've owned it. So, it shouldn't really have effected the engine as if I was to have been driving it hard?
