  1. lmao, trust you Si, now edited;)
  2. hello buddy, welcome to the world of Zed, ive never used zedworld so cant comment and theres too much politics on this site for people to safely voice their opinions. all i can say is give um a go. better still if your handy with a spanner, let yourself loose on it. theres plenty of hints and tips with tons of advise if you ever get stuck:)
  3. it should be bolted to the inside of the bumper, with its wire running off onto the same loom thats connected to/near the condensor bottle. you can see the wiring circled in this pic HTH
  4. yep, the later ones never had a stock gauge for some reason???
  5. in your hands Jimmy nothing is indistructable!!! LOL
  6.:rofl::rofl: go get um Nick!!
  7. best thing to do is get yourself an n/a diff lmao:slap:
  8. how the hell did you manage to up the boost via a blow off valve???
  9. sort your diff out buddy, your not going to have any forgiveness with that one piece prop.
  10. there is a key in the gerarbox end of the prop, have you put it in the right way up, apparantly there are two ways it will fit. a right way and a wrong way. but IMO i still think its diff related. is there any play in the diff? i.e. you can move the prop slightly before the half shaft s turn
  11. mines ok, never made a clonking noise. are you sure its not the diff, you did say earlyer that it was knocking, putting a one piece in has just taken away any give that the two piece would have had. which means more stress on the diff itself. for it to slide enough for the prop to knock the gearbox, either the subframe is moving or the monocock is bending. neither of which i would have thought possible. look towards the diff bubby;)
  12. shes running like a dream at mo. ive got another project on the go, its a fully adjustable rear n/a subframe (top, bottom, traction and toe arms) and diff modified to take TT prop, half shafts and hubs. its going to be a long while coming yet as moneys tight at mo.
  13. looking good Jimmy, hows your diff holding up?
  14. i dont know how you can compair powertrix with tein, have you seen the two? they are of a completely different design and quality. your right about the dampers, they used to wear out quickly but, have changed their design now;)
  15. i didnt think the gaps were ment to be changed? arnt they pre-gapped??
  16. not sure for stock but, the best thing to do would be get your self a dyno run and find out when she starts to drop in power then set it to the peak rev's :) HTH Mark
  17. well either way, the powertrix rods failed on me, i fitted teins in exactly the same way and got the same people to set them up, pushed the car alot harder than i did with the Ptrix and no probs. just saying, its not worth skimping. sorry to piss you off Smithy, but there you go :)
  18. i used to have powertrix and they should line up fine but, be aware of them...... cheap copies of SPL, IMO. if your going for suspension mods, its best not to skimp;)
  19. is it left out side? has there been heavy rain over your way? i would check the fuse box (drivers foot well) for any moisture. good luck buddy, and welcome to the world of unexplainable called Zed;)
  20. ive removed all emission's junk CC AIV etc and she passsed the MOT a few weeks back:)
  21. you should only have around a pints worth in the header tank, if you turn the wheel right hand down you should see the fill lines. so ive been told, its not good to over fill this bottle. as for the dip stick blowing out, the crank case is under excess preasure. this should be checked asap. possibly causing the engine to run hot and over heat
  22. 102.9 for V-power round my way!!
