  1. i would still check for leaks as once its leaking it wont fix its self. like you said, hopefully it was just excess preasure and a pipe/hose just needs resealing. good luck with it Lisa:)
  2. personally i would stay well clear of it. ive never used it nor every will. surely its not good for the system possible cloging up all sorts of stuff. sounds like a good time to upgrade your rad;)
  3. indicator stalks? dont the go just behind the steering wheel? do you mean the side repeaters? i think it was a GT3 or something (very) similar
  4. :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
  5. what make is it? you might find it has an auto setting. when i had my apexi timer you could set it to run for a pre determind time or set it to auto according to how hard the car was run
  6. do we get a re-newal pack? with such things as more calling cards and window stickers (as i didnt get any in the first place) etc.:D
  7. so true................
  8. shes always got me home;)
  9. mines reliable, ive never broken down, stood at the side of the road like i have with many other cars. o.k. parts have failed but, only due to being inferior to the set up and have been easly replaced with upgraded items. i wouldnt go out and spend 30k on a new up to date super car, purely for the fact you wont get the rawness that you experiance with these cars. so i say, throw every thing you have at your zed and watch your world crumble around you with the largest grin you will ever have on your face!! good luck buddy, you WILL need it;)
  10. LMAO!!!!! has Stu been heading hedgehogs again???
  11. just a quick question...... how far into the plenum did you clean to get access to the tooth brush via the balance bar?
  12. it should be ok to drive, you will be surprised with the amount of zeds out there on the road with boost leaks. obviously dont go thrashing the crap out of her but get it sorted as soon as you can
  13. they are fairly straight forward. its being held on by four allen bolts (that are FT), there is a vac line under the body that needs to be removed and two water pipes, both the water and vac might have enough give to be left on if not then they have to come off. obviously the intake pipe needs to be removed. once all four bolts have been taken out then a gentle tap with a raw hide mallet will free the TB then it should slide straight off the throttle linkage bar. nice and easy :D
  14. as Dave said^^^ mine had this, possible causes would be turbo oil feeds or drains (if turbo'd of course) or back of cam covers. my VVT solanoid was leaking through the sealant dripping down the back of the engine then onto the exhaust
  15. if your lucky and the TB gasket has'nt ripped by sticking to either the plenum or TB itself then its possible to re-use although i would replace later to be on the safe side. as for the balance bar, there should be three rubber "O"-rings which can be brought from any decent hardwear store. gasket sealant can be used but these rings are a much better option. HTH Mark
  16. maddest thing ive done in my zed is to let Wozzer drive it!! lol
