  1. true, they are shites mate...i have never run across a replacement engine coming with ancillaries , reason for this is you buy the engine not its extra parts, the total cost for a complete engine ready to fit would be a lot higher and potentially wastefull as your stuff might be ok

  6. andyduff the forum whore is who si is talkin about i think theres lots of different suggestions to curing sticky lifters try a good quality diesel engine oil as they have better cleaning and holding properties try engine flush(forte) try a pint of diesel in your oil for 100 miles these are all suggestions...choose one that pleases you

  8. i have promised not to use the spare room as a workshop anymore...theres one promise out of the window already......as for giving her one , if she catches me using the spare room for the car stuff again I doubt i will get one for a year or so

There is a old addage " if it aint broke dont fix it" My car is running fine , always has,taking that into consideration i have decided to take my plenum off replace all electrical connectors to coil and injectors and do a water bypass as well as a pcv valve replace , throw in a fuel line and vacuum line replace and maybe polish the plenum or paint it gold with caliper paint ,im cacking myself cause of the old " if it aint broke dont fix it" addage, heres hoping i dont break it..lol Any other things to do whilst i have the plenum off as i dont want to do it again? Just pulled the coil packs i bought from smithy out and decided to try and polish one...heres the results they were originally painted red....should i do the others do you think?
  12. yes as the tps goes through the autobox as part of the gear change control so shows a problem when fiddling with the tps

  14. i have a friend with a stripped out williams that is chipped that weighs in at just under 900kgs and i still have him easily enough
  15. if the strainer was blocked it can cause pressure loss and sluggish gear changes
  16. anyone close with a good tps you can try plus i remember reading a article where the gearbox was giving a tps code and it was dodgy wiring and he rewired the gearbox tps wiring and the ecu tps wiring and it sorted it
  17. did it in jamaica and loved it deffo worth it
  18. try resetting the tps function by disconnecting the plug for 30 secs with engine running then check again
  19. ok im up for this but give us a bit of notice as i plan on taking the plenum off soon and doing a electrical connector replace over winter
  20. quit playing eve because the only thing left to me was to ruin other people game experience by hunting em..might go back in the future when there is more to learn in the game
  21. man decent psu is cheap as chips nowadays, if it turns out to be that get a decent one put in
