put me right
chromium is a very good conductor of heat not an insulator, just because its shiny on the outside it is molecular bonded to the metal and just acts as a conducter as the original would

Would You Install An Oil Cooler On A Auto Box... Or Not?
right autobox is just a big hydraulic pump to put it simply...if it isnt cooled at all the hydraulic fluid will totally fry and the heat degenerative components in the box will break, doesnt matter wether it is a na or a tt, the main difference will be on acceleration where the tt one will be put under higher pressure than the na, at all other times the box's will be under the same conditions. Hydraulic oils have a maximum operating competancy at given temperatures ,As the temperature of petroleum-based hydraulic fluid increases, its viscosity decreases. If fluid temperature increases to the point where viscosity falls below the level required to maintain a lubricating film between the internal parts of the component, damage will result. The temperature at which this occurs depends on the viscosity grade of the fluid in the system. Hydraulic fluid temperatures above 180°F (82°C) damage seals and reduce the service life of the fluid. But depending on the grade of fluid, viscosity can fall to critical levels well below this temperature. if you need any more info i will go look out my tech books from my hydraulics course and see what i can dig up for you

Induction kits...disadvantages
as andy says when you fit a filter that " breathes " better on a turbo car all it stands a chance of doing is helping the spool up time marginally due to less impedence on the turbo intake, the induction kits will work better on cars with raised boost due to you trying to get more out of a turbo than it is supposed to give.

Hi Everyone
those look like the baileys db26 dump valves, if so they tend to leak boost at low manifold pressure which is how they are designed apparently.

Help Asap!!!!
gotta be subscribed to edit, I do oil and filter every 3000miles, sparkies are good for 60000 miles and smithy does em and also cooler ones for higher boost engines...only thing i can see wrong from those pictures is someone has put the steering wheel on upside down :slap: Working on em is something that takes good planning and thought and also trying really hard not to drop things in the engine bay

Nsx Or R33 Gtr
R33gtr without a doubt, whilst the nsx looks amazing and handles well the gtr is more capable on the road

some one help me here
As with all cars preventative maintenance is important, keep em well looked after and you will be ok although it is no garauntee as crap happens and if it does with one of these then you are looking at large bucks.

Celica GT4 Daily driver?
I had a Audi s2 and loved the sure handling the 4wd system gave, you find yourself going into bends faster and getting on the power earlier, in the wet its a pure godsend and if I could afford another as a second car I would.

****information Needed****
take the car for a long drive...30 minutes or so, let it idle for 15 minutes after this to see if it starts smoking(pcv valves usually)
