Noisy Tappets - no more!
Another alternative is to run it with a good quality diesel engine oil for a few weeks as these have better detergent qualities and dirt holding qualities.

full service wot oils to use??
deffinitely use original filters, saw a web page about replacement filters once and have never used em since.

slick 50
The teflon thing is true, it hardens with heat over time, the microscopic coating as it hardens will break and float around in your oil.Just use a very good esther type synthetic oil.

Back-pressure - what's that all about then?
Ok Backpressure. Exhaust gasses exit the pistons in pulses and right from that moment hit restrictions in the manifold and downpipes which casues the velocity to reduce causing backpressure. The exhaust pulse works by the trailing face of one pulse sucking the leading face of another pulse out ,once these pulses hit that restriction and cause backpressure you lose power as the pistons have to force the gasses out harder. its all relative really. what you are talking about doing is fitting a large exhaust to remove backpressure , this will work but if the exhaust is too large the exhaust gasses will slow in velocity and lose heat which will cause a loss in power due to colder gasses being more dense therefore being heavier and requiring more power to move, you have no back pressure but you still lose power. With a turbo engine it is slightly different as the gasses are exiting at higher velocities , forget about the temp as its the turbo that gets hot not the gasses that get hotter, so you are able to get away with a bigger exhaust due to the higher velocity but again the exhaust can be too big. By the way backpressure is not needed ,its about a trade off with your exhaust system. Finding the right size exhaust is the key.

Should the USA sniper be executed?
First of all this man commited pre-meditated and well planned attacks on people. He spent time working out how he was going to achieve this and how he would get away with it. All of that was a cold and clear calculating mental process, not the incoherant mental process of a madman. This man is not insane but cold and evil. The duty of the courts is to protect us from these kinds of people, to lock him in a room for the rest of his life is not protection but only moving the problem to a place where it would be more difficult for the freak to do anything again ( not a 100% solution) I say give it the 100% solution and let him die.

spark plug advice
Must be a Zed thing on the iridiums then . I had densos on my 620 ti running 14 psi boost from a standard t25 and never had a problem with em, and yes the plat plug does have a smaller tip but the iridium is much smaller but i bow to youre knowledge as im only a buyer and not an owner here.Anyone know why the iriduims dont cut it in the zed? as id be interested to know.

T25 Turbos
The T28 is the same bolt pattern as the t25 in the 620ti but the body needed rotating about 35 degrees to get it to fit on the rover , then all you had to do was fit a amended actuator and arm as the holding bracket was different. this is where i sourced mine from and it was the top *****x http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=tp&Category_Code=GRT

T25 Turbos
Hi The Zeds use t25 turbos from what I can gather, these units spool up v fast but generate lots of heat, ( found this out on a 620ti as they use t25's ) can anyone tell me what the intake temps are after the I/C's , and can the T28 be fitted from the 200sx as this was a straight swap on the Ti. Many thanks Kev

spark plug advice
Im "trying" to find an unmolested one...and i do say trying...I want to know that I am starting from spec before i change it....most of the ones on here are allready personalised.Mind U bonsai cars are getting a tasty silver one in with all the basics done and hitting out 340 ponies.....hmmm. I loved my 620 ti but it didnt like putting 220hp and 218 lb ft through the box and spat its diff bearings out the pram so decided to go jap

spark plug advice
Iridium by far, the conductivity of iridium allows a much smaller electrode point to be used and allows for less voltage drop .I had these im my tuned 620ti and couldnt fault em even with the t25 turbo running at 14psi but i did use one grade cooler spark plug.

Most of the glass products are polymers that bond to the screen filling in the teeny weeny ( better than saying molecular ) surface deteriations in your windshield.Over time and if not applied regularily you can get uneven clearing of the polymer from the glass surface due to the wipe of the wiper.

Platinum plugs will not make that much difference to car performance but a decent set of densos fitted will help. The platinums are better reknowned for their longer life .

Hello from a noob ( maybe)
Hi people I am new to the jap car scene and have decided to ask for advice from the people most knowledgable.......the owners. For the past two years I have been driveng a Rover 620ti and the gearbox has just gone ( a common problem for the 620ti) have been looking at a list of my next cars and have got it down to two. Mitsi 3000gto 300zx Now, the Z seems a nice car but there are a few things that i dont like about it. 1, Most i have seen are autos :( and the gearbox is a weak link ( serious sence of deja vue there) and 2, Most I have seen are autos ,hehe What i could do with is some advice from other auto zx drivers in to what they have found with the cars if poss. Many thanks in advance Kev
