  1. i used a heat gun ( the type you use for paint stripping) and a wide blade screwdriver to seperate the seal, you only need a few passes of the gun to get it hot enough to allow you to split the unit, i heated the glass and the sealant ( the glass holds its heat keeping the sealent soft) and I also used chrome paint on the inserts the one on the right of the picture is painted the one on the left is not.

  4. took the headlights out for cleaning and spraying of the plastic insert and was wondering if its ok to leave off the rear inboard bolts as they are a pita to get too and three other fastenings on the bottom of the light should hold it fine?
  5. basically i always run my car up to temp and make sure my gearbox is fully warm and check the oil when running in "p" that way the torque converter is fully loaded with fluid.

  14. two ways of finishing the nose panel flat the final coat with 1500 wet and dry lightly and polish up using a fine compound and a polisher flat the final coat with wet and dry clean off all dust and laquer up
  15. i was thinking more kind of the old boost cut type of effect with the injecters earthing out to give you that pull back feel ...lol, thought you could hear your tubs whistle when running high boost....hope so cause i can sometimes..oops...hold it a minute what happens if your viscous fan clutch is foobarred and locks fully on...just a thought as that would whistle
  16. bit of info needed mate does the fault continually occur or does it clear after a few accelerations have you checked for fault codes few things to check MAF can cause this issue type thing if its getting wet ( vented nose panel) coils packs and plugs injector connectors going and shaking loose when high revs
  17. First off can I use mobil atf 320 Mobil ATF is an extra high performance automatic transmission fluid exceeding the latest revised specifications of Ford Mercon and General Motors, Dexron III Specifications. or does it have to be nissan specific fluid...any advice appreciated

  21. lets face it the supra for pure tuneability but the zed for driveability and looks...the z is in a different class looks wise you dont get many people double taking a supra..happens a lot in a z
  22. take yours to a chandlers and see if they can referb yours, the saddlemakers are handy with leather steering wheels
  23. im gonna just fit 2 catch cans pre pcv valves that way no dirty oil to gum up the pcv valves.
  24. those feckin chavs have done for mr happy...thats it...thats just going too far...grrrrr
