Hi can you tell the year of manufacture from the chassis plate or anything else ,i dont think my v5 is right mot says year of manufacture says 94 but its on a h plate 91 .IT was mot,d when imported with jap plate on ,then mot was alterd when registered my mot has the chassis code in the reg space crossed out with new reg plate h reg .Its a swb slicktop import thanks taff.

Just to cheer you up rear crank seal can contaminate the clutch plate if left too long.

Coil packs can breakdown more so when hot maybe its that.

If there the same system as tein flex you set the spring preload and leave it 5-10mm and lock up ,then adjust the ride height by spining the lower shock mount up or down the strut.

Im using 9" all round with a + 10 front and +15 rear offset they fill the arches no rubbing, standard rear arch with a lip roll on the rear .With a 255/235 tyre on 17" wheels .

Ive heard later boxes have double syncros to stop the crunching problem in 4 th and 5th.

Hi ive got a nissan primera as well as zed but the primera is not insured ,im fully comp on the zed and it states i can drive any car third party .But the primera is in my name .Can i drive it to the mot centre for its mot i intend to sell it after so i dont want to pay for insurance ,its taxed and still has a bit of mot left .Any ideas thanks taff

I want this done on my swb but im looking for a flare as well i know this is probably going to crack the paint .Machines orange pentroof zed has a nice arch flare going on. :bow:

Hi does anybody know where in the uk you can get longer rear wheel studs thanks taff.

It look likes i karls car has a top tint screen in the forsale section.

Can you get a top tint front screen for the zed maybe a bronze /bronze or a bronze/ blue .Im sure ive seen them before .Did uk cars get them as standard i know uk cars have blue glass .thanks taff.

I take it you know front and rear studs are diffrent, splines are diffrent .

Im sure when remote starts came out years ago i think clifford the alarm people where the first .And clifford only recomeded fitting remote starts to auto box cars for saftey reasons .I dont know if this is still the case now do you need to fit sensors in the gearbox to tell it the cars in netural.

Just to point out SWB 300s have the abs pump inside the car behind the driver seat not in the boot like the 2x2 .Ive always found you get a firmer pedal if you do bleed the abs front and rear circuits as well .As for brake pads i know everbody goes on about poterfeild /hawk etc but ive found the best for fast road use are jap made prodject mu or endless pads .im using endless rear prodject mu front .

Driftworks shop do 2 diffrent sorts .

You need tuner nuts ,any wheel shop sells them or maybe halfords.

I saw a swb zed today in a breakers yard , front damage still got a few good parts on silver leather seats with zed logo on big rear spoiler brakes etc its in colchester essex if anyone needs any bits .GaL autos the hythe quay.Its reg is WAX last 3 numbers on the plate and its black i dont know if its known to the club or not.

Are both uk and import zeds hollow .I know with the 200 sx s13 the imports are hollow and the uk models are solid.I dont know if this is the case for zeds as well.

Im sure takemetothepubs old black zed with 300zx down the side had bbs wheels on as well, maybe theres some pics about somewhere.

Just wandered if this is a jap import thing ,do uk cars have the same problem maybe its to do with jap petrol pumps ie diffrent fuel filler necks.
