  1. Hey guys What do you think about these anyone got some? I want replacements for the stock ones that are comfortable but also save on weight. I can get some second hand for 80quid so I thought I might go for them. Any thoughts? Cheers
  2. 37 years young mines on a multi car policy all mods declared 300 quid limited to 6k miles
  3. Looks awesome matey cant tell thats a quick job looks very professional!
  4. Cheers Guys I went for the 235 40 and 265 35 set up with Falken 452's. Had Toyos and Goodyear F1's before but thought I'd try these as I have heard good things.
  5. will the 235s be ok on a 9inch rim? I was looking at the 245's cos they are 9's and wasnt sure they would stretch
  6. 265 35 18 rear / 245 40 18 front? Or is 265 35 18 rear / 245 35 18 front the better option?
  7. Hi Don You can find loads of info on the differences using the search function but the high level differences are UK ones have been on UK roads so tend to be more prone to corrode Jap ones have clocks in KM's and are limited to 110mph (can be de-limited) They have folding mirrors not heated ones Thats about the worst of it although I'm sure someone will be along to add more. I have a Jap one so I'm biased. The insurance is apparently more on a jap one but it made no difference to my insurance. The key is finding a good one both UK and Jap can be abused. Lots of history or usual signs of a caring owner are the key. No different to any other car really.
  8. Hello mate We have a 19 month old daughter and she is our whole world so I really feel for you, nothing is more important than our children. I'll keep everything crossed for your little one. Keep positive and best wishes.
  9. Mines been off the road two months after I bought it. It went in for an engine rebuild in August last year and on and off Ive done about 1500 miles in it. Ive replaced nearly every moving part and some that dont and its back in at the moment for a gearbox and softer springs and 555's. while it was in they told me the clutch booster has gone so I'm putting in an NA clutch master cylinder and pedal etc. I'm thinking of registering it as a charity? cant wait till its back though! Soon it will be mechanically finished and I can get to work on the body and interior.
