Hey guys the garage rang and are telling me that they have the car up to 1 bar and 400 horses. But it starts to misfire when it gets hot so they reckon I need a new set of coils. Are they talking shite? or are they on the right track? They say the coilpacks start breraking down at 1 bar. Cheers Ron

Hey all My car had the plenum removed and painted by the garage. When they put it on the Dyno it blew out a gasket. When I asked them if they had put new gaskets in when they put the plenum back on they said that the gaskets looked ok to them and so they just put some silicone on them and put it back together. My Question is if they try and charge me to pull the plenum again and put ion new gaskets should I pay? Or should I tell them it was their own fault for cutting corners? Bloody Monkeys! :slap:

hey j they are spc in horsham they charge ninety plus vat per hour for dyno work. Phil runs the place and has been a good guy so far. They are on 01403257257.

hi guys the garage have finished my car all bar the map. Its running a map at actuator pressure only and will now need to be mapped up to full tilt. They have quoted me five hours of dyno time. Does that sound right to you.

hey mate. As the guys say get a jd ecu i have an aem but it was about a grand and unless your going to loose the maf and go for forged internals etc internals etc i would just get your car airpee would in do

Hey mate check your PTU cables disconnect them and give them a clean also CAS cable. Mine did this and sat in the garage for 2 weeks and it turned out to be a dodgy PTU connection.

Hey LG Yes my booster died and the master cylinder new slave and pedal assembly for the NA was only 150 and the booster was 500 on its own without fitting. Im happy with it being a bit heavier and happier with the whole system being simpler and less likely to break. Hopefully it might drop a couple of kilos as well. Cheers matey will post up some thoughts when I've had a chnace to drive it a bit
