Hey guys Ive spent ages tring to track down an earthing problem and wondered if the old earthing straps the hung off the back of a car and touched the floor would benefit the car in any way? Cheers

Electric fan draining battery
Hey all Thanks for your help. Did a bit of testing today water pipe (fat one on the top left) to which the temp sensor is attached was running around 85 / 88 when I stopped after a long run from Brighton to home and the fan was running and so was my aux fan (I have an AEM not stock ecu so I need to check what its telling the aux fan to do) temp at the top of the rad was there or ther abouts) I set the fan to kick in here and will keep an eye on it. Its going back in for its re-map in a couple of weeks and they need to get the cam cover off for a re-paint so Itll get a flush then.

Electric fan draining battery
Hey guys will do. My aux fan comes on also so I'm guessing that the car is running hot... Must be a dodgy thermostat as the pump is new unless I've got an air lock maybe? Doesnt the aux fan run at two speeds low speed for normal and high speed for meltdown? needle in the car on the temp guage has never moved above middle as far as I have noticed.

Electric fan draining battery
Hey all I have the electric fan kit from Zcentre and twice now I have parked up gone off for half an hour or so and then come back and the car wont turn over as there isnt enough juice in the battery. I have replaced my battery with a 680Amp job from Halfords and hopefully that will fix it but as its hot I'm guessing the fan just runs until the engine cools down but this could take a while??? Has anyone else done anything to fix this? Switch under the dash maybe?

Will start to push it a bit harder and get back to you. Certainly feels very planted at the mo. These were the standard spring rates from Ksports web site http://www.ksport.co.uk/order.asp?id=282&loc=1 Could be a mis print?

Hey mate These are the ones I bought Front Spring Rate 6.2kg/mm Rear Spring Rate 2.2kg/mm compared to my old 911 and the S2000 they are fine, currently set to half way they could be a little softer. I'm setting them to 2/3rds soft to see if that hits the spot but so far I'm very pleased on a flat road the Z feels as tight as my old S did and that is very impressive for a car thats nearly 19 years old. Not driven on standard shocks so I dont know what they feel like but I feel very confident pushing on in the car albeit I can only use 5k revs at the mo. I'll report back once its been run in and I can start to track it and push the back out a little. :hyper:
