Today I removed the acid etch primer was an old can, and purchased some, Rust-Oleum Hard Hat Anti-Rust Corrosion Primer 218. The laser had it off in seconds. I have also found out a few passes with the laser over the thick under seal heats it up nicely and pealed off with a blade. New primer on.

Laser rays are so cool, anyone know if the exhaust hanger studs are removable.

I sold mine in 2006, regretted it straight away, saw it on auto trader 7 years later and bought it back. I was so happy.

Did a bit more Today, this area above the drivers side exhaust was very pitted so I had to laser it, wire wheel a bit then laser it again, came up nicely. The video shows it better https://youtube.com/@Th-lasercleaning

I will use acid etch primer then decide on what underseal to use, not sure if I will leave it black or paint it back to body colour.

Yes and the effort and mess, dust is crazy. I can sit on a chair and point the laser it’s very good. There are so many places you can’t get the wire wheel in. The laser also cleans into the seams, at the weekend I am going to try and save my wheel arches.
