Earth like planet found
Surely its impossible to travel faster than lightspeed, as it is one of the universal constants?.and the amount of energy required to accelerate to anywhere near lightspeed would make it impossible, even with an ion engine.

Earth like planet found
A light year actually measures distance not time.light speed is186,000 miles a second or 700,000,000 miles per hour, and its pretty obvious the numbers get huge(imagine the distance light would travel in a day, week etc) so the light year was thought up to express the distance that light would travel in that time frame. To actually travel 600 lightyears would take millions of years with conventional technology.

Aircon delete.....
Personally ive always found that misty windows on the inside on coupes is down to door and tailgate seals as much as anything.drove my calibra for 3 years with aircon removed, and if the windows did mist the heater soon cleared them..........and as for summer, thats what removeable targas are for surely?.i can see the advantages of aircon in hot climates but we usually only get a week or two of really hot weather.

Aircon delete.....
I want to remove the compressor etc to reduce a bit of weight and the load on the engine.removed the compressor on my v6 calibra and made a noticeable difference as the engine didnt have to drive the compressor.
-
Aircon delete.....
Would I be right in thinking that to get rid of the aircon I can simply remove the aircon compressor and belt and the associated pipework, and leave everything behind the dash in place........or is there more to it than that? Any advice would be appreciated :)

boost
Have got an electronic boost controller and a central 20 ecu with a DTA chip and one grade cooler ngk iridium plugs, apexi filter and full stainless de-catted custom downpipes mated to a mongoose system in mine and running 14.5psi and she goes like a rocket. As already said best to have other mods (chip etc) to compliment a boost increase :)

my lights are possessed!
I have odd electrical problems relating to the lights etc due to the passenger side targa drain tube being detached and draining the water onto the block connectors in the corner of the passenger side footwell, all the connections were badly corroded and had to be re-wired.may be worth checking your targas drain as they should.hope this helps :)

radiator
A trick I was once told about by an old mechanic is to use washing powder (yes..the stuff for washing clothes) to flush the cooling system.apparently he used to swear by it and I have heard of a few other people using it, but have never tried it myself.
