Did you put fresh fuel in it, as 3 year old fuel will probably be 'stale'. I dont think modern fuel lasts as long as it used to before it goes off.

I have heard that if you repeated get stopped and given a fixed penalty for small or non-standard plates then dvla can withdraw your vehicles registration number and re-issue a 'q' plate instead.dont know how true this is but have heard it from quite a few police officers. Used to have a gsxr-1100 with a fag packet sized plate, got two fixed penalties and was told I would lose the reg if I didnt change it.

Hi and welcome, the skyline looks very tidy :) Im sure someone will have a box knocking about, as most seem to convert to manual.

Its a black jdm tt auto, has 300zx.co.uk stickers in the rear windows and was registered to a guy in burntwood,staffordshire earlier this year but appears to be from down south (surry area) as have a few receipts for work done down that way soon after it was imported in 2006.reg number is j838sdh :)

The D2 setup certainly looks the business and a bargain at that price, especially with braided hoses and pads included.would like a setup like,this on my zed :)

There was a guy in the test cell altering the fuelpump just before the engine went bang, had he have still been in there it would have killed him.there were bits of engine embedded in the walls and ceiling, those 24ltr v12's dont mess about!.

Spotted that in youtube the other day. I used to work at the Perkins engine factory in Shrewsbury and quite often an engine would let go in the testbeds.the 'best' one was a CV12 Challenger tank engine that had both turbos fail and it started running on the engine oil when the fuel was shut off and it ran until it ran out of oil and the front 6 cylinders siezed, the rear six tried to carry on running for a fraction of a second and the crankshaft broke in half.one half came out the one side of the block, the other half out of the other side!.it completely wrote off the test cell and the bang could be felt through the floor of the factory.

All at 21.02 !!! :)

Theres a pearl white zed near me in shrewsbury :) As for the wheels, if you like them get them refurbed.....:)

Went to a clubcalibra event at billing in august and there was also a golf owners club event on and they had a mobile rolling road there and some of the r32's were hitting 400bhp with ease, and I should imagine they are a fair bit lighter than a zed

Hello mate, another zed in shropshire :).you arent far from me.

the vacuum is created when the throttle is closed, diesels have a vacuum pump fitted as the intake system on a diesel doesnt create a vacuum as the throttle is connected to the fuel pump.

getting old now so when i learn something new it pushes the old stuff out :wheelchair:
