The el sheet that was in mine looked as though it would be a greenish colour.

I am new to zeds.. but surely they have some sort of crankcase breather system, every other car ive owned has one.on v6 gm engines (c25xe calibra engine for example) a blocked breather can cause camcover seal leaks which fills the sparkplug holes with oil, which is a real pain to sort out especially in the rear bank of cylinders :(

Sounds like rear crankshaft oilseal is leaking.may be worth checking the crankcase vent system is clear, as if its blocked it could be causing the block to pressurise and force oil past the seal.

When did the plenum on my 3.0 v6 in my calibra I used a tin of gunk and a brush,and then jetwashed it at the local garage!.i then sprayed it silver with silver wheel paint (think it was called 5 wheels) and got a really good finish that lasted the 3 years I had it.

A have a spare rear centre panel I bought off ebay (cheap!) that appears to be a genuine nissan illuminated panel, as it came with a nissan inverter and on seperating the two parts it has a proper cut-out for the wiring connector etc.the reason I seperated the two parts was due to the fact the el sheet doesnt work and I want to replace it. Does anyone know of anywhere in the uk that can supply a new el sheet of the correct size (approx 50mm x 300mm) that illuminates red?.have looked on ebay but the el sheets on there arent the correct size.did find one from the states the right size but they dont ship to the uk! :( Any help or advice would be appreciated :)

Ah, I see......is it so you can tell where the front of the car is in relation to whatever is in front of it then?

My aerial doesnt go up so I turned the aerial plug behind the dash round so the aerial in the rear screen is picking up the reception and its perfect :) Might be a daft question, but whats a parking mast?

I gonna say I prefer the v8 :) Only thing that sounds better than a big v8 is a v12 merlin engine......pure engine porn! :)

When I put my Calibra DTM on fleabay the other month I had 35 watchers and not one bid! I bought my zed on ebay, spoke to the seller on the phone about it, agreed to buy it and payed my money, job done.Cant stand timewasters that tat about saying they want it then they dont or offer peanuts!.

Most of the time when its counting down I sort my bag etc out,have a fag and just let it count down.as z32bolt said if you take the last few minutes of your drive steady it will cool down, I do this and my timer only counts down 40 seconds to a minute and its one of those that calculates the cool-down time automatically based in engine rom etc.

Well I can press the release button and remove the key when the turbo timer is counting down and the engine is still running, get out of the car and lock the door :)

Anyone know the part numbers for these?.my last topic heading 'part numbers wanted' was a bit vague! ;)

With my greddy turbo timer I can remove the key, what would stop the key from being removed???.only thing I cant do is arm my alarm until timer has counted down and everything shuts down.
