  1. datascan works, conzult dosen't tried copatabilty mode running as administrator etc but it just crashes everytime
  2. I've got one very similar to that, but the conzult software provided with mine does not work on windows 10, however Nissan datascan 1 does which is only around £25 for the licence
  3. so following on from my front under tray issue, I've bitten the bullet and bought the Ali kit from z1, so while I'm waiting for that to be delivered I thought I would crack on and remove the old front tray, anyhow on the rear mountings in the radiator support the middle one was already snapped off, passenger side was missing and drivers side snapped when I tried to tighten it slightly to try and dislodge any rust before trying to loosen it, so is my only option now to try and drill out the offending bolts?
  4. I've got someone on the Facebook group that may have a decent one he says I can have for the cost of postage which is very good of him, but no idea on timescale, I would rather keep something on there if I'm honest. if push comes to shove I'll get the Ali one from the States.
  5. I do like the idea of the Ali one just not got the funds till I start working again, typically I’ve got a brand new Oem rear cover to fit when I get chance
  6. hi guys hope you are all keeping well during this pandemic, (I will renew as soon as I start working again, being a full time dj at the moment sucks) anyway onto my problem, my front engine splash guard/ under tray has pretty much had it, it's gone brittle and split at the back by the radiator support, anyway don't seem to be any new ones around, so my question is, would the car be ok without it? and are there any available alternatives to them? I've seen the ally ones in the U.S.A but shipping is horrendous.
  7. has the for sale section gone? i can't seem to be able to find it.
  8. or directly from here http://www.car-speaker-adapters.com/items.php?id=SAK005
  9. these are the ones i bought https://www.amazon.com/Aftermarket-Speaker-Adapter-Nissan-1990-1996/dp/B00GW3M6GK/ref=olp_product_details?_encoding=UTF8&me=
  10. brill thanks joely i'll get on it today, then my next job is sourcing a few more parts for powder coating........
  11. i'm playing with mine at the moment 330x89 looks good but not sure if it will use 64mm letters, my reg is quite short in text using 2 number 1s (FLZ 4117) 330x89 looks ok, as does 355x111. 406x111 is ok but 406x89 leaves to mush white space either side of the reg...........damn pain in the neck. but i think 330x89 or 355x111 will be the winner in this. cheers all
  12. cheers guys so am i right in thinking a 3/4 size front plate is the 406x89mm size? i've tried 406x111 (standard height) & 406x89 on the plate designer and the 111 high looks better as the number fill it out slightly better.
  13. i'm quite lucky jimmer is only 45 mins from me, but i wouldn't use anyone else
  14. i know this has been asked before but i've just had my front number plate bracket refurbed so looking at putting a smaller front plate on (my car is jdm) i've read smaller front plates should have 64mm high lettering. however i've ordered a plate 12x3 which turned up this morning but it only has 55mm high lettering. is this too small? i'm sure i've seen plates that size on imports before.
  15. i did mine last year, i bought some speaker adaptor plates from the usa, they were made from thick abs but were a straight fit
  16. i think there is one currently on ebay not sure if it's a tt or na though
  17. cheers si, i've got a couple of bits down with warren at the mo, so i think wipers and few other bits will be next
  18. just a quick one, i'm looking at buying another set of wiper arms specifically to get them powder coated, has anyone done this successfully?
  19. hi guys after a couple of bits if anyone can help, i'm looking for the bracket on the drivers side (RHD) of the plenum, not sure what it's called but has vac pipes and a couple of wiring loom plugs on it, it's for s series 1 JDM, ideally with no physical damage to it, not bothered about condition of the paint as it's going to be powder coated. i'm also after a drivers side wind deflector (9175030P01) as the springs on mine have broken. cheers guys
  20. i have a guy local to me who does aircon repairs on all manor of stuff, he can repair or make up new pipework.
  21. a good aircon specialist should be able to repair it, but you will need to replace the drier as that will have moister in it from the system being open
  22. you maybe able to get a aircon specialist to make one for you. it will prob be the easiest option looking on jp parts, it docent look like any of the pipe work is available from nissan
  23. saw a matt black zed drive past my house earlier today
  24. sorry guys had to drop out, had a bit of a mare at work last night and didn't wake up early enough to get there.
