instrument clock lamps
ah yes they are 501 or t10 if they are same as side lights etc , it's just the smaller 'footlight' lamps across the bottom of the cluster, are they the smaller t5? i just want to get the lamps in before i pull it all apart.

instrument clock lamps
hi guys got a few instrument gauge bulbs out, from memory are the main lamps that go in the rear t5? as i have to pull the clocks i also want to replace the lower illumination lamps these are a smaller lamp i think that come with the holder, what size are these? i notice there are less than 5 available in the U.S, but it's not worth me paying carriage on just a few lamps. so looking at alternatives which i'm sure must be out there.

Starter motor relay - part number help
if you look on the above diagram it has symbols on there a for a/t and m for m/t if you look at the starter relay and the inhibitor switch they both definitely say a for automatic. and the manual bypasses the relay completely so i would say no relay on a manual

Starter motor relay - part number help
according to courtesy nissan description it just says relay clutch & starter. best to look to see if your car has one fitted but they only list one. which is a blue relay according to pic on czp. https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-25230-89981-clutch-starter-relay-nissan-300zx-90-96-z32_p_1906.php

aircon woes
yes i'm having mine converted to r134 i have to replace the dryer as well, but my aircon guy said it looks like it maybe a universal dryer/condenser but i may wait and do aircon as a winter project ready for next year i don't fancy fitting used parts
-
aircon woes
i hope so i can't remove my bumper as the captive bolts in the wings all turn when trying to undo the nuts, you wouldn't have the dimensions of the condenser by any chance
-
aircon woes
so i've had the aircon doctor out today to look at the zed, it turns out my aircon has leaked and is now not working, anyway the guy did a leak test and found the condenser to be the problem, how does the the thing come off? does it come out through the nose cone or is it radiator removal and out that way? the other question as these are only available from the U.S. does anyone have the dimensions of the condenser? as the aircon guy said he could get a matching part cheaper than nissan.

exhaust
hi guys looking for advice, i'm looking for an exhaust to go on the zed but not sure what to go for, it will be stainless still obviously but i currently have a powerflow system, 2.5" all the way through including front pipes, no x/h pipe and 2 rear silencers only anyway the result is it's bloody loud! it only really gets quiet above 60mph i'm looking for something a little more subtle/ closer to stock bearing in mind i the car is mapped (originally in japan) and i'm running an apexi cone filter apart from that everything else is stock i know nothing about exhausts so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction, and i forgot to mention it's a 1991 t/t

Garages
i feel your pain johnny knowing how well you look after your car, but i think after the first attempt to fix i would of played the warranty card, and not let it gone so far as it did. the z32 isn't as easy to work on as some garages think. my only choice for getting work done used to be jeft-tt but as he has now retired i goto Jimmer (that plus he is only 45mins from my house)

Door card screws
not sure if concept or courtesy nissan have these listed in the U.S take a look grab the part number and new will only be a few pence. failing that normal self tapers would do the job
-
turbo timer location
dump it and just drive the last 2 mins of any journey off boost, far more effective than having a timer

Eg arrrrrh!!
if you mean pulling the egr pipe from the manifold i think the option a lot take it cutting the pipe, crushing it flat then weld it
-
Garage size?
i've not put my zed in the garage for a while i was thinner back then but from memory i think i got out dukes of hazard style
-
Garage size?
my garage is just over 7ft wide and getting the zed in is very tight , i would say at leat 10-12ft to get out of the drivers door with a bit of space

part number
hi guys just changed my short shifter for a gem shifter, however the short shifter had a different lower bush it was on pin bearings with a metal collar inside, this meant the sleeve was slightly smaller than the poem sleeve. just need to double check is this the right sleeve? https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-300zx-collar-shifter-bushing-z32-34556-30p10_p_9864.php
