2nd Gen Selin Translator and blowthrough mass air sensor setup
So is yours a setup suitable for all car's or it's it relevant to the type of intercooler, ie location etc! Also is this something you will be making available when sorted?

Complete transplant - Where to do this? Parts/Car Proposition...
This is the trouble with text, type conversation, you can't see the person or hear the tone they respond in! Noel, In response to your post, My point was not to attack or condemn anyone directly, and but for the sake of a change in wording, I would have been better of saying "why do some traders" to respond to the thread. My point is there is great respect for the traders on this site by it's members. If it was tuning then you are acknowledged as the leading light in this field and I myself would not hesitate in using your services (if still allowed) Lol! If it was all things Zed!, then ZedWorld would be the best place to go to keep your car in tip top condition! just look at the amount of free guidance given by Jeff in threads on how to DIY you car if you can't afford the Pro's! and yourself on extensive tuning and car setup. Longstanding it has been acknowledged that Jimmer (Powerzed) builds the best engines for stock or performance (not to the detriment of any other known builder, just that he has track history! Then there are the more recent and longer established very capable engineers, Lee, Mark etc. everyone knows the abilities of these individuals and the contribution they make to forum chat and assistance in technical help to members, not to mention going out of there way to fix problem cars often with goodwill. But I don't get why there should be an immediate negative response (earlier in the thread!) to another member offering his help in an engine transplant, who in the efforts to be transparent declares his intentions! It is the nature of this site and it's members to offer their help advice and presence in assisting with issues other members have and it is that attitude with keeps our forum so strong and while I may be speaking for myself, it is the case that in the real world although we recognise the benefits and indeed would often wish to use the services of the pro's to sort our cars the cost of doing this sort of work often makes it prohibitive. There are many enthusiastic members who enjoy giving a few hours of their time to others and that is the nature or car clubs. My post reflected what I believe is a common issue and experience, for instance when I looked into getting my engine rebuilt after it gave up on me and was given a guide quote that started at more then the car was purchased for (circa plus £3K)!! So it should not be presumed by "some" or any traders! that because one member wishes to help out with another's car by reciprocal arrangement, then a trader should think they maybe losing out! as the case may well be that they would never have seen the business in the first place. Being a Forum Trader allows members to choose to purchase the services of a selective few, not an expectation that those services are a right of every forum enquiry! Don't take this as a negative response, that's not in my nature. I am just trying to get my point across and managing to hijack Williams thread...sorry William! Suppose I'll be going to Superchips Now!!!..............by the way my engine still isn't running...Lol!

Complete transplant - Where to do this? Parts/Car Proposition...
So what's the issue here? Why do the traders automatically think they are getting done out of a job if another member offers his help for another local member, let alone having to justify their intentions! I am sure we would all like to use the specialists on this site to undertake engine builds, but the cost involved is prohibitive to many of us and therefore enjoying the goodwill of fellow members helps keep these cars on the road! Bit of lightening up on the traders front I think!

Lancaster avro bomber mkX
I had a unique sight of them on Friday, I was walking the dog when they both rumbled over the woods and appeared above me over the downs heading back to Bournemouth...Low, Slow and Loud!....blessed phone was full so couldn't get the shot, but I have to say I was quite moved.

Lancaster avro bomber mkX
BBMF Lancaster was en route to Goodwood Revival and turned back due to a technical issue (later to return with the Canadian MF Lancaster) The Jets were a Canberra and two Hawker Siddley Hunters which also displayed at the revival meeting today. They are all based out of Bournemouth Airport this weekend and if you look out of your window about now! the Lancaster's should be returning!

how much oil in manual box
I believe its best to select through the gears when topped up to ensure the oil finds the gaps, then top-up again as required.

A very sad day for me
You know your own position and how best it will or won't affect you, stay strong with the memories and the initial phase will past and things will be a little clearer...but then you will know this given your past experience1 Good luck your clearly in many of our thoughts!

A very sad day for me
Really sorry to hear of your very sad news! Can you not take the couple of days bereavement and then get back to the rig, surely they would provide some assistance given the circumstances? I have to say though, that if you don't find away to get around this problem and show the support to your family at this difficult time, it will likely be more difficult to get past this time and help you in dealing with your own loss. It's difficult I know, I lost my Dad when I was 21 and not going down to the base to see him has stayed with me ever since and I didn't have the issue of missing the funeral.... do all you can to get home, this is only going to happen once!! whereas money may always be a perennial problem form time to time. Keep strong and think of the good times, but get home if you can...Good Luck!

Strange Phenomenon on an Aeroplane
Looks like I was sold a yarn, yes ice crystals at high level! Still like the shot, not bad of my mobile!

Strange Phenomenon on an Aeroplane
This Phenomena is similar to the strange effect that the sun sometimes has on the cloud base due to high altitude pollution. It may be that the air you are flying in is causing the dusk particles to be illuminated as a shadow by the sun and obviously the clouds are mirroring that effect....well something like that, we experienced a similar effect in Florida recently.
