  1. Realistically how far will £4k perhaps £5K go in todays cost of living?, Buy yourself a Cayenne, widen your drive and keep what will be one of the best Zeds in the country on the Road.......it won't be every day you want to go out with the Wife and Kids...Lol!
  2. I can't help but snigger every time I see Louis Van Gaal the Former Dutch (ex World Cup) manager and future Man Utd Boss!! (laughs) her her..her her her!! Now Grown Up
  3. Just started up myself after too many years out of the saddle! I purchased the Boardman MX Pro hybrid form Halfords (£600), although I didn't go this route it is available on the cycle to work scheme. Superb bike, with Hydraulic disc brakes high spec gearing and unbelievably smooth ride and I'm no light weight (as I kept being reminded)Lol........My wife has just submitted her request for a Whyte on the Scheme, but at the time of choosing I was impressed By the Trek and Giants they had in store. I would also recommend looking at the range form Evans Cycles, they have great choice and brands, also if there's one near you can try before you buy!
  4. Yep. that Gold one did the rounds on EBay a couple of times over the last year or so!...something not right as it kept relisting after being sold!
  5. Always two sides to the story, best Steve and the "other" party engage in a satisfactory solution using the committee etc. before we see any more eBay style trading going on!! Steve, don't jump ship and tarnish the entire forum with the same brush, we know and understand your cheesed off, but it's a better place than one poor deal, get it resolved amicably and all move on! Your a great member to have on board.
  6. I haven't cottoned on to who the MOD is yet, but if this is the case (Above), it begs the question, why is he still a MOD?
  7. I wonder whether mine ever had Bose in it, as I have a Sony CD selector module in the centre console, but no head unit or changer, I guess the previous wanted to fill a gap? I think the cover looks good, but you have to have the speaker somewhere!...Keep it!
  8. Never seen a speaker before, as I seem to only have the grille in mine!
  9. Don't you read any threads about speeding.... Lol!
  10. $1.50....about right, he should take it!
  11. Well done Ian! top man. Konrad, glad to see you stuck with it and are getting it back on the road.
  12. How come the teachers were saved?, Union rules in broadcasting I bet! Watched excepting a near miss and fly over by the car, but this was a bit jaw dropping!, the problem is the add is probably created by some tree hugging left winger who believes that losing control at speed (any speed) on a right hand bend allows the car to crash through a flint wall and do a Bond like dozen rolls before finding a soft landing!! It's over the top fiction designed to go out when all the low life that do drive like this on a regular basis are getting topped up at the local hostelry and then playing with their mates until it goes pear shaped for someone. If this add is about the appalling loss of 28 children due to road accidents, then ask the question, is this due to little Jonny and Ginny running into the road between parked cars (school runs with mums parked over the no parking areas) or because a school bus is involved in a collision involving speed on the drivers part!, point is there are many causes of death at speed, slow and fast! because speed is not is relative and so are the circumstances that cause accidents. That said, any help or message that makes anyone thing twice has to be welcomed, even absurd far fetched ones like this!
  13. "Balls or what"! Not any more..Lol! Strength on that cage is incredible, lucky he was impacting compressed snow, he'd be a gonner with concrete!
  14. Wow! now that is an opportunity not to miss, going to check on dates !
  15. Well, I just bought a Halfords mobile tool chest combo set (red one), really great value, trouble is my garage is a bomb site and I can't find all my F*****g! tools to go in the nice new drawers. Lol So its Orange for me!
  16. Incredible and welcoming to read, he would appear to have escaped with nothing more than a couple of grazes after that shunt!!! One for the Audi marketing boys in the future no doubt!
  17. Is this the infamous idle pulley temporary retaining bolt?
  18. Great Add! beats the pretentious nonsense they usual drivel on with!!
  19. Best wishes to your Dad for a quick and healthy recovery.
  20. Wow shocking news, been off the media radar all day, and first thing I do is come on here to find this sad news. A real shame, a brilliant modern iconic comedian of our time, almost died several years ago in a quad bike crash but recovered to still produce some brilliant characters on TV. The last of the Great Hussars!! will miss the old Bombardier!! RIP Rik Mayall.
  21. Not mine, but a spot on fleabay for someone who might be interested? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300zx-Nismo-Injectors-/331224718282?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d1e881bca No Connection or involvement on my part!!!!!!!!!!
  22. I think a lot depends on what sort of look you after, the Twin Z is a very aggressive look best suited for a low (perhaps wide arch) style stance and definitely if you want the engine to breathe with that gob!, however the 99 Spec is more in keeping with the stock modern design of the Z, and agree with daffy a nice lip would look at treat. If your looking to keep it clean and fresh then the 99! without the flake! Oh and no nose vents!!!!!
  23. Nice! shame the shot wasn't wider, looks like there's another in the shot.
  24. Knackered! after Bike ride on New Boardman Comp MX :sweatdrop:
