  1. As is ever the threat to our democratic rights in this country, being undermined by the rights/ beliefs/ opinions of the few, being forced upon (by law) of the majority, here we have an example of something that is closer to home for Car clubs and enthusiast by threatening their very freedom to show drive and meet with their cars! A ruling in the Birmingham area has upheld a petition to Ban!, car road racing and parades!. The Ruling refers to complaints of large gatherings of cars (up to 250) in the area, but the new enforcement could be applied to as little as two or more vehicles! I have no issue with any rules that stop idiots street racing whether on roads or in car parks, but this is all the more sinister as it bans the gathering or parading of groups of cars and potentially incurs a jail term for those taking part as well as organisers. Considerately not as yet the spectators! So the days of pub, café, car park meets, whether your from the Morgan owners club or the Jap spoon specials! could be numbered! Let alone meeting with your mate who happens to drive the same car. Report Here.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-30285191
  2. Isn't this the same as Mondo's' thread (above yours) today, about a poor retrim ?
  3. Thought you could let it slip by? Thanks JeffTT for the reminder... A Very Happy birthday! Gary.
  4. That time, come around already! Lol. Happy birthday Jeff Picture of cake required... Have a great day!
  5. Hard to tell, but it looks like there's rust bubbling on the offside sills and lower bumper/ Wing.
  6. And they sing "you spin me right round baby right round like a record baby, right round, round round" Lol!
  7. They've been getting away with this season after season! I had a feeling this would be a focus this weekend, when alot of slow motion clips were showing the wing tips sparking of three corners. Now we'll see who stands out in the overtaking stakes!!
  8. Free with every set of winter tyres!
  9. Well, put your Sowester back on you'll be home soon!
  10. Welcome aboard, can't see your Photos though!
  11. I've never found an (budget) anonymous named tyre that's worth putting your life at risk!...let alone in winter conditions. By all means find a cheap price, but not a cheap brand! I have found Black circles very good for tyre pricing, you buy online and get them fitted at a local outlet. Try this. http://www.blackcircles.com/tyres/winter-tyres
  12. What tyres have you in mind?
  13. Not bad! No pics but two buyers... But read the text guys, he already has a provisional if he sells it. My moneys on spin doctor!
  14. What is it being replaced with? Personally, agree with the opinion not to change it!
  15. It's a better design than most out there, but I still think the concept of the basking shark look (big central intake) is misconceived. There is little symmetry in these designs that contours the flow of the bonnet (sightlines from the outside of the lights would be better) whilst giving balance and purpose to the width of the car. In this instance a slightly wider main grille with the sight lines carried down from the main lights outer edges and the top line of the grill levels with the top of the Intercooler intakes would give it a more dynamic appeal whilst looking as if it was designed for the car and not a clearly aftermarket effort....which of course it is! 8/10 though!
  16. Nicely Put! I respect your opinion mate, in the same way I don't like Big wings!!
  17. I think there smoothed over Jun arches.
  18. Really?...better get mine down to the circus then, thankfully not with a clown spoiler!..Lol
  19. Not sure about Winter Mate, I've just taken the Dog for a walk and it's 14 Degrees and sunshine on the downs North of Portsmouth! I Know what you mean about a feeling for winter though, my triggers 3ft snowdrifts and a toboggan down to the Pub!..Lol
  20. Sherman, to replace your truck?
  21. Sounds like Charlie Drakes "my boomerang won't come back"!...but I don't think he was in the Who! Lol....Sorry! Alan.
  22. Seems incredible the money some old Classics 70'2 & 80's now fetch. For some cars, which were laughable in their failure as a mode of transport, the desperation for collectors to find the next classic and running out of decent affordable automotive choice (such was the 70,s & 80's) that even the Dagenham dustbin range are supposed to be desirable...and don't get me on to Marinas, and allegros etall!!!!!!!! The Capri was the dullest and poorest handling "sports" coupe in it's day, with the exception of a few specialist models!
