Home cinema projector
Only thing i would recommend on your setup is add at least 1 more 1.4a HDMi cable and stick in a couple of Cat 5e, you can use these for communication, control or just as spair for IR etc, you never now what kit is arond the corner or when or if a cable falls over!!!

Home cinema projector
Yep defo how the other half live, but then without them I wouldn't get these jobs, so good for them! The great thing about creating your own family/cinema room is provided you get the basics right, (screen, PJ, Audio, Insulation, lighting and cabling) then you don't need a big budget to get a good value result.

Home cinema projector
Some of the Cinema rooms i have done recently if they offer any ideas? These pictures include motorised projector lifts, Anamorphic widescreen lenses and automated screens and speakers, so quite high spec but great fun to install. All rooms have lights on, this is an image produced in movie mode, 5% side downlights.

A southern events for every month 2014
What are you going to do until we all get there, keep driving around the roundabouts? Lol Seriously, would really like to get into meeting up with folks on a few cruises, I haven't done a single one yet since getting the car, and it's been sitting on the drive (undercover...well until last week!) waiting for me to change the engine for a year....but decided I will keep it and will get cracking when the weather behaves a bit more.

Sound bar
I use the Q-TV2 system which has a stereo wing speakers adn a rear slim sub built in, I haev sold and insatlled many of these and I find the sound quality at all levels superb. The speaker system bypasses the TV speakers which are cr**p by comparison, it's ideal as the system can be used as astandalone speaker syetms for parties etc when we plug in an ipod dock. They use to make a speaker bar with back surround sepaekers adn comact wall mount sub, thes speakers were proper 3 way channel units with cebntre left and right and could be adjusted on a sliding rail to accomodate any TV size from 40"-60", far better then the thin sound of most "Bar systems", I've still got one in the warehouse that i used to use which i would be happy to move on if it's of any interest. Website for reference http://qacoustics.co.uk/qtv2-speakers-for-you-tv.htm#qtv2 Alternativley consider the new SONOS speaker bar option, makes mincemeat of the BOSE version.

Running your own business
Great news! Your both going to be fine with this, you learned the first rule of business, don't let your heart rule your head and waited for a better deal to come along. Differentiate yourself from the supermarkets and street sellers, lots of displays outside if possible and plan the celebration periods.. New year, new start and the very best of luck to you both. .

2014 F1 Ferrari engine test!
The engine is clearly running at relativley low revs and not set up given, the random throttle responses, but I think it blends some of the sounds of the greatest GP engines of the past, Hondas V16 of the 60's Ferrari's snake exhaust which emitted the most amaxzing rasp of the same era and the amazing 1500hp V6 turbos from the early 80's! Frankly 22 cars heading down to Eau Rouge on full chat, boosting to produce 850hp and at least the same in torque with Kers on definatley wets the appetite! Sure it may not have the smooth V10 or old school Cosworth V8 DFV growl but for me it is a welcome change to the piercing howl of the current V8's....

2014 F1 Ferrari engine test!
Reading up on a story on Piston Heads that Ferrari may be looking into a return to LeMans with an LMP1 hybrid, there was a clip of a LaFerrari fitted with the new 2014 V6 1.6lt turbo engine being tested at Fiorano. Obviously not running flat out, but potentialy so much more interesting than I expected or even compared to the current V8's.....if an alien was an engine it could be this!..enjoy!

Wide arch wheels
I really like the Wide body on an LWB, gives the car balance as I have always thought the rear arches looked flat compared to the front which have a natural flared line to them. Would really like a decent flare and pull on the arches rather than a kit, but I guess there are limits to how far and much you can create a bulbous look! Those wheels would look a treat on a flared arch but not sure that would be enough?

New F1 rule for 2014 season.....
But that's the fundemental difference of F1, its not having the same equipment, it's having the very best technical skills allied to the most talented drivers. It is the lower formulas that are designed to be the same in order that drivers can show there talents as they move up the ranks. The higher the formula the less control over the technical regs, but Formula One is meant to be the pinnacle. The problem lies in the cost of running an F1 team, years ago during Ferraris domination, they spent billions of Fiats rapidly depleting cash on the F1 program, this coupled with the talented drivers and team bossed allowed them to rule the roost....until the money started drying up! Now Red bull have taken the mantle, the highest unlimited budget over £200m last year, a junior team program (Torro Rosso) the best talent in the technical department, although alot of that has is moving next year to other teams, and a focus on a sport that in time they will decide no longer holds their interest as marketing tool. Red Bull are a drinks firm and offer nothing to the industry that they participate in and so at some point they will walk away, with a huge trophy cabinet. The problem with F1 is they are no longer allowed to push the boundaries of technical innovation, racing is styfled by the inequality of budgets resulting in paid and budget drivers sharing the same grid. Then we have the spinelss FIA who will not enforce a budget allocation to the teams and at the same time dream up rules that nobody has asked for, ahead of a season that with so many changes we just don't know how competative the teams will be and who that will be? This latest points rule is designed to dress up the dullest race in F1 that now is the final race in the calender (albeit now a night race) it is a cynical rule that is meant to generate excitement ahead of even knowing if it's needed, if your going to do this make it one of the Blue Ribbon races such as Spa, Monza, Suzuka, Silverstone or Monaco, Mid season leaving everthing to play for. This season was won because a single team pressured the powers that be, to revert back to a tyre specification that there car was built around, because the nominated tyre supplier wasn't allowed to test fully their compounds before the season started, up until Silverstone it was all to play for...after Silverstone it was a done deal. Drivers racing at 80% of their ability because of tyre deg is Formula three! Lets have more tyre testing, Lower, level budgets and wider parameters for design innovation and we get rid of stupid pious rules that negate great racing and destroy the spectacle...then Formula One will be again the Pinnacle of competative International Motorpsort. Gripe over! Lol
