  1. The 3D printers I have seen don't produce finished articles just rough finishes, perhaps they can be rubbed down and sprayed, but i'd be surprised if they have any integrral strength? I guess it depends on the model... however potentially it seems you can make anything small if your a good CAD designer!
  2. If a trader had a consistantly poor rating or feedback on a forum where exclusivity to your trade is paramount then surely they would be politely asked to leave. I'm not being negative, I think knowing someone has had a good or bad experience is a great feature but if it is to access a traders quailty, then surely we need more competition within each category. My point is if we had a number of traders offering the same service/ product then you would be able to make a call on whether or which you best use. This is not a critical post, only that it might be good to see this system lead to more competition amongst traders and choice for the members
  3. A welcome feature, but surely feedback is a way of comparing sellers of the same service or product, feedback for the sake of highest score only reflects that one service/ product is in higher demand than another. The forum only allows one trader from each category (exception being breakers) so feedback is popularity not comparitive! This is not to be taken as a negative, as I welcome the tech element as well as the quality of all traders currently on the forum but wouldn't wish for a detrimental effect on traders who are used less than others because of the service / product they provide.
  4. Agreed! Mondo is a new trader on here who has started to build a good reputation in his craft, to give help and info like this can only enhance his reputation and ultimately we hope his business. What seperates this forum from others, many of our traders offer up free advice in the face of there own business... Well done!
  5. Really smart 300... When are you painting the silver primer to the black? LOL!
  6. The connectors are very compact you will add a little over 1cm to join.
  7. Yep, Theres not a lot between them, the larger is for RG59/RG6 cable the other for Ct100 sat cable, you could use either but it will be tighter or too easy to put on. At a guess looking at the core you have the larger cable size, so even if you buy the smaller size it will fit albeit tight. Measure the o/d and let me know I will find out the type you need.
  8. Jaikai right on the solution, for a quick fix pick them up from B&Q or a maplins if you have one nearby, however make sure you get the right size for the cable as connectors come in two sizes. If you get stuck, I can send some out on Monday, have every type of AV connector in stock.
  9. No, but the backbone chassis would, along with the already dodgy electrics, wood facia etc. the Fibreglass would crack and break down. The fact is the Elan was a ground breaking sports car, which became the template for the worlds most successful sports car 20 years later... the MX5, no Lotus in their day was particuarly fast, just unbeatable! in the handling stakes, unless you had four times the money to spend on a sports car!
  10. Does my head in, when you see great Classics rotting away...Lotus were always my favorite sports manufacturer until the corporates got hold of the brand! It's hard to get a decent project classic that's not got a silly price tag attached.! Keep plugging away, she may just change her mind!
  11. It's a Girl!!, Congratulations Paul....start saving!! Lol Hope Mother and Baby (name yet?) are doing well
  12. Happy Birthday Bazz, have a great day!1:rockon:
  13. had delivery down for £3 with collection offered....think he was going to be out of pocket on this one
  14. Best track in the south is Thruxton (Andover) as for indoor, Gosport is a good layout, could be interested depends when the dates fall.
  15. Ok, perhaps a bit optimistic but wish him well and look forward to selling mine! http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/nissan-300zx-non-turbo-2004-import-k-plate-offers/1029215096#photo-content
  16. If you've got £3k + to blow on an unknown history car which will go unseen with no come back, you would be well advised as previously suggested to take a look over this and other forums where some excellent cars come up, often for far less then they are worth. There have been a few recently, which are still probably available. The logic being you will be able to get far more history on the vehicle and often find the maintenance has been hands on with some reputable forum members.
  17. If a windows phone is important go for the Nokia 925, the S4 as an all round can do everything phone, the Sony Experia Z if you want a classy but enviroment friendly phone (waterproof, drop proof) and I guess the Nokia 1020 if nice photos is your thing. Still struggling myself to change from my old Iphone 4 to one of the above.....so in reality, i'm no help at all!. LOL!
  18. Think you'l find that's dust after the wipers were used, although probably hasn't doens the screens much good wiping 12 years of crap all over it!!! Agree with getting the car checked, it's already at reletivley strong money for a non-runner, so other bidders may have already checked it over. Realistically, you need to look at pricing in a full service, Cambelt, Ider, Thermosat change, new tyres and possibly wiper blinds before you do a pre MOT check as these will be perishing or essential to a 300zx running properly. He may have started on the key after 12 years, but it doesn't mean the engine will appreciate a run out without a thorough check over!, also need some fresh fuel... the drop that in there is probably full of moisture or diluted in combustion by now! Good Luck with it if it goes your way.
  19. Your'e not going to Hospital for an eye check are you!!! Lol!

  21. If you or a mate can use photoshop, take some angle shots and have a play. Colour choice is very much your own, especially involving striping and grafic detail, so if you like it, go for it.
  22. PS4 for out and out gaming, Xbox One if you want an all in one media box....XBOX may rue the day they tried to provide an all singing all dancing box, they want their own TV channel and have linked up with a number of US sports organisations NFL etc. which is only relevant to the North American market...to much interactive use for my taste. Prefer the Xbox 360 to the PS3 with the Live service being very good, have no intention of upgrading to either new console for the forseeable future.
  23. See! Zed owners get a Phallic Monument to show off the prowess of there marque...LOL!
  24. Brilliant, thanks for the pics, wish I'd got there, but a great effort and turnout by all concerned, well done! By the way what is the white one on the last pic, looks like a total 1 off kit?
  25. Stay away from seagate, go for western digital media drives
