  1. yeh thats correct the high pressure will cause internal damage. you can modify the tt pump but it will be easier to fit an na one bear in mind the brackets are different as wel.
  2. i agree i quite like the 300c but they arnt holding there value well. not well at all, is there a reason for this? i dunno. but i would bet its probally to do with poor mpg due to its yank hertiage and cheap build quality. i love american cars but we all know they are made out of lunch boxes.
  3. 24 sky for me over half the price of adrian flux and a third of admiral. im paying about 800 atm with 2 years no claims an accident and 3 points on the books.
  4. as above really i know i can get the oem ones from zcentre but he doesnt seem to do the magnetic sump plug, id like to order it from the same place for an easy life. :D anyone tryed diffent oil filters, like the hks one with the non return valve. any merrit in this idea or always best to stick with the orginal.:donatello:
  5. well that explains things lol, nah jks. i just looked at the pic again and noticed the inner part of the alloy. so im pretty ofay with what it is now lol. ouch is this common?
  6. i think i read somewhere that taking the engin eout from below effects the steering geometry in some way that is very difficult to rectify. i understand what your on about ian you want to know how much clearnace you need under the car to be able to swing the gearbox out attached to the engine. without the back of the box hitting the floor
  7. not sure buddy, cant imagine much, i would get some onbe who knows wheat they are looking for to have a quick once over under there on a lift and check its all set up correctly

  9. i would have a look at the geometery maybe its had a knock and it sitting out, or maybe some of your bushes are worn doesnt sound liek the shocks themselves, maybe anti roll bar bushes,.
  10. lol yeh i think by the time ive got the parts together and fixed the crap to refit, it probally will be next week now before i can refit. :( still it will give me time to do some other bits while its sat there off the floor
  11. pump ios out thanks to gaz and no real futher forward as to where its been leaking from so im going to refurb the pump and change the lines. make it nice and fresh.
  12. apprantly this was them and its normal from time to time, the fault has been delt with.
  13. pretty sure both of mine are pieces of wire now.
  14. the semi ridgid line that goes from the intercooler to the turbo itself and goes over the top of the power steering pump. how is it remobved do i need to detach the hard metal line above itto acess to jubeliee on teh front of the turbo? and how is taht one removed, just by the single bolt i can see on the plenum and the jublie that is on the recirc part of the induction back into the turbo??? please help :D

  16. some where there is a thread from jeff with a load of photos of what the comopany taht did mine did. i had one turbo perminatly engauged and the other perminently disengaed. and so many boost leaks i never hit boost in any event

  21. gash, was the comapnion or the service manual? ive got the service manual here on adisc in pdf format that your mor ethan welcome to take a copy of.
  22. yup absoulte pants, mine has stopped working althoughter now.
  23. could be an airlock or something silly. take the cap off run the engine and work the steering from lock to lock and top up as you go if required.
