  4. bloody nora. well i suppose they had lost no material. as long as the weld is well penatrated and clean the really it shoouldnt fail.
  5. better to get the car right than fluff it up because you wanted to go to a show. its only a show mate, you have to live with the car
  6. i went with the lwb for a big reason, i simply didnt know about the swb. you can hardly call the rears seats hence why its a 2+2 you could get two children in there, tahst what i keep telling the mrs in relivance t keeping it long term. anyways ive had an adult or two in there and they end up sat sideways. theres just no leg room. ive laways liked muscle cars which are generally four seater so it never seemed a big deal to me. all of this proportion talk is grat however at a quick glace when rolling by its hard to tell. me and hellraiser where recently parked next to eachother hand having the conversation about how much sorter his shortie is when up close to compare its only 9"s iirc. looks alot sat side by side but flying past at upwards or 50 who can tell. yeh the lwb looks a tad lanky at times but tahts what makes it a super gt rather than just another sorts car.
  7. only 35 that sounds a little cool thats 6 degress short of body tempreture....
  8. ok, three things taht would make that 100% better, spoiler change that ones awful. roof and door pillars etc black you knwo the look i mean. and those corvetter style rear lights need the bin. imho :D

  14. any one got an idea of waht sort of labour costs i should be expecting for the exhaust removal and refit? i was assumin about an hour or sos labour. i was going to do it myself but theres just not enough space on the floor to get at the damn thing. if its gonna be silly money labour though i will do it myself lol. it needs cutting off tbh
  15. agreed ok the front bumper is awful.(imho) but the rest is ok.. oh and that rear wing but lets be fair whats it like underneath? theres plenty of nice looking stock witha twist cars that are bags of shite underneath...with a little work esp if your minded body work wise that could potentially be a little bargin. corse its missing two turbo sin my opinion aswel but who cares its only my opinion :D
  16. it wont let me watch. hrmpf
  17. little tip mate there is a garge in derby called nippon auto psares who say they are a jap specialist. do not under any circumstances take your car anywhere near them. please lol

  19. cheers dave, yeh im planning on undersealing the whole car before winter sets in. want this shell to last tbh
  20. after attempting to remove my exhaust which seems to be fused toighter forever. (ive decide it will be far less hassel to get someone witha ramp to do it for me) i found some little bits of surface rust, one penny sized chunk about a foot away from the rear seat. and a luittkle surface rust on the back of the sill by the rear wheel not into the actual sill itself. grrrr best sort that all out befiore it spreads! on a positive note that wa all i found. i even gave the sill a good poke about to check for soft spots
  21. stop breaking start fixing jim lol. youve got enough spares there to make afew of them by now lol. did you only notice it was teh rings last night? maybe its worth just running it for a while i heard pcvs can take a while to take effect. few hundred miles etc... you could always do a leak down this would show ring health??? in any event you still have a spare block dont you?
  22. get some pictures up buddy
  23. if the rubber strip is missing at the front of the bonnet this can happen been there put it back :D sqeak gone
  24. the indicator sits square on as apposed to being at an angle hence th ereason it lights a direct square i think there shaped slightly different inside aswel. the red part is bright, and at night the orange much brighter and fully illminates teh section. however with midday sun the indicator part isnt stonking in yoour face bright, im tempte dto use an led bulb to amend this soon
  25. i dunno some one told me there where as you obviously there sno engine braking, thats probally why the stopping power of the car as awhole is less i guess. which has no real bearing on the brake itself. i know what i mean lol
