going to have to sell the zed :-(
i dunno in reality, i dunno about where you are but here apart from the intial deposit paying a mortage makes finiacial sense. around half teh cost monthly. a simply 2 bed terrice house without any bills paid is around a grand a month here. in some the crap areas. 4 of my mates where living in a house with no off road parking no lounge and so out of date it was practically a mussem i would have a guess it was last decortated in 1970 something. their neighbours where awful and the area crap. that was costing them 1200 a month before any other outgoings.

anyone else tried to race a gtr the r35?
lol er well heres my take on it in an unbiased way. power. wel it goeswell the power curve is smooth progressive and starts from fairly low down the rev range as you would expect from an n/a, even the standard car has quite a nice smooth induction roar to it taht lets you knwo theres not just a normal gold heart in there on an open throttle. brakes. where to start just look at the size of them compared to the size of the golf theyre huge., and they feekl like you would expect. strong instant and responsive, theyre pretty sharp but this may have been due to him not being used to it yet. handling, yes it goes round corners well, that 4 wheel drive really holds. yyou can put youir foot down half way through a progressive corner and it just digs in gripping gripping gripping. i guess theres a limit to this and when its reached heaven knows what happens but i think you would have to be driving beyond what would be considered sensible on a public road. the interior is very fresh anjd tidy and feels quality like most german cars, you would be quite happy in there even in a traffic jam. as for tuning he was saying that forced induction and remapping in the way forward and the block itself is pretty robust allowing for upping power to not completly bankupt you. cant remebr the facts and figures atm. its a really nice car, however its just not as quick as it makes out for itself. he hasnt driven it with the traction control off yet.(his gf has though :P) but i would expect the usual front bias at all times making for a workl dof understeer and snore. would i buy one? not as a toy no its just not enough car to be a proper toy, lovely to blast down to cornwall in though. i must admitt though id love the creature comforts in the zed.

i want a bodykit?
that red one you just posted up stella is now running a 99spec front end. if its the one im thinking of. carmnad does a very simular set opf side skirts. i think the best combo is 99 front those skirts or simular and the twins rear bumber with the diffuser.

sorry didnt explain myself properly thats me all over, the siccorco has the audi lump and is all striped out weighs about as much as a fag paper. the r32 golf is completly standard. the zed is faster then them both in a straight line. experimented and done, and tahst with my auto box having a spazz attack between 2nd and third.

What can be polished up?
if its metal it can be polished.

What steel wheels fit
correct strength of useage aswel. is teh strength tensile, or another type. this is what determines the useage of material, alloy is great for roar cars because its ridgid and light, it however is brittle, no good for being twisted with torque or putting heavy weight on. steel whilst not holding its shape well ie bending, is more likly to do this than snap hence its use with heavy machinery.

its a genuine r32 both very close friends of mine he was pretty cheesed off as he has only had the gold a few weeks. its got an audi engine under the hood putting aroung 250bhp on the deck mated with some short ratio box. it keeps up with the zed till about 60 then its slowly disappears much to his disgust, i think once im upped on boost and converted to manual il eat him alive

anyone else tried to race a gtr the r35?
ah yeh as i said it murdered me, not as badly as i thought though. and he was definatly gunning it. i dont recon a 400ish bhp zedw ould beat it but i think it was upset a brand new r35 owner with how it doesnt just disappear. im pretty impressed how a 20 year old auto performed in comparision in fairness and its a true statement for how good these cars are, they really have stood the test of time. i really dont think the same will be true of the 350.

recommend good window tinters in london?
please consider the darkness of the tint first and dont even bother with the fronts, it makes teh zed such a pain in the ass to drive a night, nighttime parking is awful.

anyone else tried to race a gtr the r35?
i did and guess what it ate me alive, im sure had we both taken off at teh same time rather than him shooting offa nd me trying to catch up it may well of been slightly coler run, but damn they move! i do however think from that little experiment that a lightly modded 300 running around the 380 bhp range could keep up if not over take in a straight line, as although i never gained on him i also didnt disappear into the rear veiw mirror. quite surpruised how well an 21 year old auto kept up with a 50k supercar. he still had me though, obviously this was a lovely track session, and much more fun was had. :D

the manual box doesnt use the box cooler. depending on wether its uk spec or jap spec you ill have differnt configurations. japspec its simply a loop through the rad on the right hand side and you stand infront of it, about half way down. uk spec it passes through to under the air filter, where there is a small oil cooler situated. its all upto you matey, if your switching over to the manual box the simply delete it at source, its not required. as alan said go for an aftermarket rad for safety and reliabilty, teh oem one is adequte at best, esp if your running higher boost etc. good luck with it. hopefully you wont end up with what i found, which is taht it was running through the rad and cooler in series, the problem there being the cooler being used was my engine oil cooler. one very well ciooled box, one hella hot engine.

What is it with 350z owners?!
agreed they dont want to play and they in general dont catually know hat our car is bcause thyre not normally car people, its just a sports car to them. tahts why its all the more satisfying to waste them.
