  1. you will probally struggle, to get those deeper scratches out now. yopu need to go back a few steps unfortunatly, get a scotch bright pad for and angle grinder this should take out those lighht scratches. then its back to sizle and compound. you can use a soft mop and some autosol for the final super mirror finish. be carefull though because it will go everywhere. its all to do with direction aswel, i can see how you have worked round the cas you should cut the whole thing at 45 degress then reverse the 45 cutting across the grain. dont add another direction though and for the final mopping just do one direction. :)
  2. well im due to renew in about a month now but my 25th birthday is round the corner in september. how much impact will turning 25 actually have on insurance prices??? and what should i do in the mean time?
  3. i would love love love one, in carbon!
  4. mine only comes on when i wish to cruise at motorway speeds. its junk with it on.
  5. agreed, it needs an 8 the zed needs an 8 to be perfect. why not twin turbo a v8? :D
  6. Right ive had the front end up in the air, it was nice and light. Ran it from lock to lock. for about 20 minutes, loads of large bubbles worked out. I did this till they stopped, put the car back on the ground sod all happened. its still very heavy, there is no differnce to the steering weight with the engine on or off what so ever! this is really pissing me off now, cars been off the road for over a month for a silly p/s leak which is now fixed everything is back but now i have no powered steering!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR
  7. i had that lkast week pain in teh ass.
  8. accordinly the hicas will not prime itself this way, it has to be bled like a hydralic brake. this could begin to be a pain in the ass
  9. hrm..... cant do it now will wake the neighbourhood up. is it usual for them to be stubborn to prime after they ahve been dry for a little while.
  10. so im best lifting the front end and working it from lock to lock that way? with the engine running i assume
  11. i did when i was doing lock to lock but not when i was driving it obviously.
  12. its not all about performance its about satistics aswel, i know when i looked about for a car the zed was far cheaper than a skyline of any sort or m3 because they have a stigma to them
  13. yeh i believe your correct, but ive driven it round as many round abvouts as possible and worked it from lock to lock about a dozen times . and its not changed very mucgh at all, the middle seems to be ok its just the further part of lock.
  14. i pretty much fully drained teh system when i refurbed the pump and replaced the high pressure lines etc. when i fired it up tonight i filled up the pot and wound it lock to lock and lots of air came out, tyhe pot was rising on full lock and the fluid went fizzy to start with. it has got lightyer but its still VERY heavy. any one got any further suggestions to this, it worked fine before. the erason i took it apart was beacause of a leak.
  15. done a sheet of 120x60 did the two cross bars and teh trims.
  16. yup it was that technical wizard of facts mr yowzer
  17. so we will have a project car very soon then???

  19. yeh all is well down here just had mine off teh road for a month to fiddle should be back by teh weekend, im coming up your way in august, dunno if il be in the zed though. been back and forth thetre quite a bit recently
  20. i heard that you had one of those shirk rays and shunk down your umpa lumpas and sent them on in.
  21. i dunno baz changing the plugs is pretty easy once you find them
  22. manuals are crapo for teh reasons already expressed plus being a twin turbo car youi cant garantee the boost is equal. boost jets are cheap and effective but they can still spike, ebc is teh way if you have the cash. i hope you have a chipped ecu running with those jets.
  23. i was under the impression the passenger side i s the easier one to get at and the servo must be revomed to access the drivers side.
