thats an awesome discovery shame the tt wont just hold the gtr diff, make life a doddle. could the tt diff housing potentially hold the na gearing.

maybe you should explain what your intenions for use are etc, obviously if its just for road use some benifits or dissadvantages wont apply

smoke or steam? keep a very close eye on your coolant levels buddy. could be a very expensive trip if you overheat

no they were degraged and falling apart, i replace them when i overhauled that powersteering fluid lines etc. sadly nissan no longer sell the resivoir feed pipe or the hicas return.

right this is my maths. (rim width/half) to find the wheels centre. then plus or minus the offset to find out where the rear face of the wheel would sit. by that centre line so. (rim width/half)+? then measure the resulting number from the hub face out to the arch and see where it lies..... is that correct? ie a 245 rim with an offset of -33 would sit 89.9 mm away from the hub face. :detective: i think im right its just i cant spell very well and the maths isnt exactly top notch neither.

right internal diameters of the pipe i used are, 10mm and 19mm i also used a 21mm 90 degree joiner and the 19mm slides onto this without too much brute force.

apprantly the works ones are 245 wide with an offset of 33. so by my maths i did (245/2)-33=89.9 i then measured from the hub face this much out giving me a a pretty damn nice stance. but then thats my first ever go at working it out.

agreed with jaikai the heater matrix has probally been disconnected to stop heat coming in or because the matrix leaks.

im looking at several wheels atm i do like the rays but im also looking at some works aswel. but the rears are offset 33 running 245 tyres on a 265 rim i believe. they are both about the same money. just cant decide atm

busy next few weekends after that shou;d be free for a day.

cheers mate. got my eye on a few sets of wheels these being one of them. i wonder if the 45 profile on them will cause issues. cant go splashing out on new tyres aswel esp when the ones on the set im looking at are nearly new

anyone got a set of the z33 rays alloys fitted, the fronts are 225 with an offset of +30 so should sit lovely. the rears are however are 245 with an offset of +33 how would that sit? only other thing im wondering is that at 18" with a profile of 45 will they not be slightly larger than the standard oem diameter? and cause speedo issues etc?

you mean the resivoir feed, tahst about 22mm i think. if your really desperate to know exactly il get the vernier out on the hose i have left.

just cut it in half, top and bottom and weld it back togther the opposite way round. as said you will have to modify the pick up tube and extend the oil feeds. simples, lol (he says)

i think they are 12mm, its the next size up from standard oil hose. thats what i used anyways

i know where thers another set of hands for that project stop being lazy. im sure theres a few of u sthat would be up for that one.

didnt like it, just felt like one big long trailer to something that never happened. was nice to see flatland bmx getting some exposure, and i do have to say that that trails rider was over rated, yeh he might be the best trails rider in the world but he wasnt doing anything that bmxers havent been doing for years.

let me know how how you get on i heard there can be clearance issues which mean you have to move the intercooler pipes to get the thing in.

ive received mine, seems good quality, havent got round to fitting it yet biut once i do il a full reveiw on it.
