  1. Personally I prefer an 18" wheel, I'd happily go down to a 17" but you don't get much room for bigger brakes. Having a bit of sidewall I'd benifical and has a harder look IMO. Rubber band tyres are for posers.
  2. Lol I'm quite aware that's also a poor sentence by never progressed to make sense.
  3. The lack of ability to communicate isn't always completely reflective on overal intelligence. Sadly I know the meaning and pronoucation of many words I have noooooooo idea how to spell, I got a B in English litriture and a C in English language, so above average. I've got about 14 GCSE's all C or above and 3 Alevels and an ASlevel and various other qualifications and paperwork. I am not the smartest on paper and I'm by far no idiot.
  4. Why hasn't it been done for iPhone yet?
  5. So who would form the new Scottish cabinet? Surely the vast majourity will be politicians who are already disliked? It's a bit like your company being owned by an arsehole, and your line managers a tosser but slightly less than the big boss. Line manager offers you to work at his new company were he will be big boss. Realistically will your new boss be the same tosser he always was, or upgrade to a fully fledged arsehole? I doubt he will become so some of saint with this new found power to abuse.
  6. This may be if interest to you... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?176016-Ten-Of-The-Best-300ZX-V-GTO-Competition&highlight=Totb+GTO
  7. I agree, the vote yes campaign is basically comprised of deferring proper answers with a far card of patriotism. No matter how it's dressed up all either side is interested in is money. We the people both scouts and English are merely the cannon fodder of old being duped into thinking it's anything more than a pissing competition and lining thier pockets.
  8. Time will tell is the only real answer. Il tell you this much though there's been an argument for years over the bloody wind mills here, the "conservationists"(I use that term in brackets because they don't actually seem to understand the environment very much) any decide wether the amount if birds that get snuffed out is a fair offset and no bugger wants to loom at them, population density is pretty low where they are proposed to go, but people don't even want to drive past them. I genunily think they are an unworkable proposition. SolR is coming along quite quickly now though. Once the oil runs out and cheques stop coming in they will reveal the next thing.
  9. It's ok Cornwall is essentially a wind farm, not that windmills are much cop anyway apprantly. They seem to be off more than they are on because it's "too windy"
  10. Is that before or after Britian an the EU impose trade restrictions on you to discourage further seperatism in other counties such as Spain....ohh it's gonna get silly this isn't it. To much money and too many egos.
  11. From my understanding the z32 has a variable effect on powersteering. This is determined depending on speed, low speeds more assistance high speed more resistance, so the car is easier to manorve at low speed but planted when at high speed. I understand there is a seperate ECU for the PS, so how does it work? The PS pump has no electrical hook ups, the speed of it increases with RPM so how on earth does it work? Is there a solenoid that closes down as you get faster effectively reducing assistance? Why am I asking? Well I have a little idea in my head that involves the stock PS pump going bye bye, and being replaced by an electronic one from an Astra, I just don't want to loose that feature and have a overly light and twitchy feeling car through the bends.
  12. Any man who thinks the answer the universe and everything is a number is wrong. The actual answer is simply......... why the hell not??
  13. I will resist the temptation, I will resist.
  14. Buy it soon or it will be a non Uk import! Ahahahaha
  15. Yeah I do like this colour myself, has a real deep gloss effect.
  16. That whole glitter paints, flip paints etc etc isn't cool anymore. Even the the kids with thier Hondas think it's lame. It's your car mate but you will seriously devalue it.
  17. Best place to start would be a boost leak test and to run your ECU codes. Any other odd issues such as high RPM, uneven idle etc etc.

  19. If it's reading a resistance of 50+ ohms does that mean it's failed open? With lower than 10 being too lower resistance ie it's closed? Do I understand that correctly?
  20. Lol, that was the least likely path I was going to take. I do have a slightly unorthodox plan, I'm sure you will appricate it.
  21. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?141898-FAO-Jeff-tt-manual-conversion-wiring&highlight=Manual+conversion+wiring That might help.
  22. If you search 300zx ecu pin out on google images, you will a diagram showing what all the wires do, yo take the one for the neutral switch and connect it as a loop through the neutral switch to ground.
  23. If the resistance is 57ohms it's out if spec.
  24. Thanks for that Noel, shame that, it looked pretty useful but you have just explained why it isn't. Wideband AFR gauge is on the shopping list after my recent issues, it's encouraged me to invest in one for my new engine when I eventually sort it all out. Compared to a rebuild it's a cheap indication that could well save an engine.
  25. Interesting and drawn out. I'm quite looking forward to the results now.
