  1. Don't say I'm not helpful lol, credit of corse goes to Jeff. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?147915-Spinning-key-barrel-tech-fix&highlight=Spinning+barrel+tech+fix

  3. Happy birthday buddy.
  4. I recognise that car swear he's a zclub member
  5. I actually just re-read the link I pulled up from the FSM which does mention the removal of the lower timing belt cover and of corse the main ancillary or "crank" pulley but no mention if timing belt removal or disruption.
  6. I don't see why you should have to touch the timing belt or crank pulley? Please correct me if I'm wrong. The ancillary pulley on the crank yes because as he said he couldn't access the bolts with the lower cover still on. I don't take it personally and maybe I explained myself poorly or maybe you misread what I said. The crank pulley and timing belt behind the cam covers are a separate entity and with the covers off should allow access the water pump should it not? - - - Updated - - - I don't see why you should have to touch the timing belt or crank pulley? 7. It was my second choice, I wanted black but at the time I brought mine they were virtually all red.

  9. You can hire a beaver tail, those transits they transport banger cars on for not much.
  10. I could swap you your black zed for my red one, nice and colourfull lol. Not as nice though.
  11. In that case it's gotta come off, that bottom ancillary belt pulley should just pull off, mine came off smooth as butter. If it won't you should get it off with a puller. I wouldn't use non OEM water pumps, oil pumps etc on a zed it's just not worth it, replacement is too labour intensive and can cause so many dramas.
  12. Was that an OEM water pump? http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=lc&dir=&config=&refresh=&slide=9&cycle=off&scale=0&design=default&total=15 Crank pulley and timing belt do not have to be touched. You will have to remove the ancillary belts and pulley along with the timing covers I believe, don't think you will get access without doing that. Try... Uncouple the viscous fan, if it's still attached. Remove the radiator and the two hard pipes on the block, the pump should now be accessible, if you can get on all the bolts like that, the timing belt and subsequently the ancillary belts etc can stay in situee. It's seriously not a massive job, just take your time.
  13. Don't see how that works, the cup holder appears to be just a flat piece with a hole in it...
  14. It has been officially confirmed now then?
  15. Wicked :) - - - Updated - - - Il PM you later with what I've got so far mate :)
  16. Apparently they have voted to stay, it's not official yet but it's unlikely there will be enough yes votes to swing it now.
  17. I take it you had to purchase the programme?
  18. Does it read AC diagnostics etc as well?
  19. It's useless anyway...
  20. That's a standard wheel?
