Inherited a 300ZX
It's not so much that the Jap spec is missing stuff as the the UK/Euro version came fully loaded, only the full fat 2+2 twin turbo targa was available here with uprated suspension, oil coolers everywhere(it even has diff and powersteering coolers) all the toys. Jap spec cars can be pretty variable in thier spec year on year and what the orginal owner paid for. They paid out for the auto box so maybe they paid for more upgrades.

That's an issue close to everyone's heart Noel, I think he has a complex plan to hang speakers off the roll cage like a rock concert audio set up, alternatively he has also thought about purchasing an iPod which seems at current to save weight and money, it's just his race overals are a bit tight for it to fit in his pocket, may have to settle for an iPod shuffle.

Pipe size from turbos
Stock size is 2", most aftermarket exhausts are 2.5" but 3" are available for even more gains. Where are you replacing from?

Supermarkets
Do you? I fuel up about 3xs a week and never have to ask, sainsburys even give you a VAT without asking.

Look forward to it. Under tray is on my list, need more ground clearance first, too much exhaust hanging down all over the shop.

Petition
I was thinking about this just other day when the limit dropped to 50 from 60 in two gantries about 300m apart, the 50 gantry had a camera on it, so within 300m you were expected to both take note and adjust your speed. Whilst you should be looking far enough ahead to see and take precaution, in the real world esp when it's busy and your changing lane etc it's both ill conceived and ill advised to be throwing in another hazard, it should at least be law that they shouldn't change and enforce on the same gantry.

Hi
I must admit I've never chased after an NA bumper.
-
which fuel pump?
Cheers Noel, not something required right this second then.
-
which fuel pump?
When would be the appropriate limit of the stock pump be reached, as in when should it be replaced.
-
Hi
Not unusual, lots of NA owners swap out for TT front bumpers to make it look like the turbo model.

Wide arse Z for sale again...
It does beg questions. My car has had 3 UK owners, the importer for several years, then a chap in London for a few months who had it painted or tarted up i should say then sold it after a few months, I brought it and the engine blew up after a few months, maybe he knew...

"Parts are plentiful and inexpensive" Hahahaha! That's the funniest thing I've heard today, just like a beetle or mini. A lot of people buy these cars then realise they can't afford them or they only ever intended to keep them over the summer.
