Metal fatigue and lower arms
Everyone should check for cracking in the lower arms where the Tension rod bolts through, not all that uncommon.

The Code is on your VIN plate Brian

they may as well have just done it red
Hinkley valtone (or something like that) ?

they may as well have just done it red
They have completely neglected to include a single flake of metallic in it, and not sure wether the lack of metallic is the only reason for the colour to be off....or if they have ****ed up the mixtures too. it should have a LOT of metallic in it with a lot of colour change in the light, this is my filler cap ;

Good old Halfords paint mixing skills

Re z for sale
Just had a look at your rides...thats not a bad fit, you either got lucky or bodyshop put the hours in on it, but I can still tell its a Zcentre one as its not perfect fitment. The giveaway on them is that the ends dont line up straight with the tailgate, they angle upwards the further along they go.

Is my car AG2 colour?
Yes, that would be AG2 but do check your VIN plate, I dont know if they changed the code at any point. But you really should take something in like your petrol filler cap to get them to match it to your car, red in particular changes colour from its original a lot over the years

Re z for sale
Yep, UK front bumper, Uk rear bumper, UK nose panel, 3point rear belts. I cant make out what trim it is, but it has Manual passenger seat so possibly a 90-92 oh, and that rear spoiler does'nt fit right, so its a zcentre fibreglass jobbie

Prices
As already said, that is a very good quote for replacing the metal brake lines. It is far from a rip-off. There is a LOT of labour involved in replacing the metal brake lines, including dropping the rear subframe.

full boost rattling noise...?
it wont take very long to put a hole in the piston 15psi is over the safe limit, your injectors are maxxed out and most possibly running lean, plus the mines ECU can be very aggressive (there are different versions). Are you running it on high octane fuel only ? - V-power..etc Turn your boost down in the meantime (or remove the boost jets if thats how its increased) Some will get away with 15psi on a more mildly tuned ECU with High octane fuel and everything running perfectly....but its always a risk without appropriate mods. Have your timing and Fuel pressure checked asap

Castle Combe Spring Action Track Day - April
It got bolted on at 2am that morning as the only bumper available. Its hideous...and it sits way to high, despite the car actually being lowered quite a bit.

Castle Combe Spring Action Track Day - April
its paul@swz's vert.....he said he is binning the bumper next week when his 99spec arrives. That Veilside is even uglier than the other Veilside LOL

Castle Combe Spring Action Track Day - April
PAS failed (boiled fluid, believed to be from water contamination), resulted in a bit of an off on one of the corners into tyre wall. Luckily just a front wing damaged. He was going really well out there though, car looked great on the track.

Is this a complete set
Does'nt include the rear link arm setup. A lot of whats included in this kit and the rear link arm kit are not needed though if you are fitting adjustable arms.

Bumper Lights
They are very simple Plug and Play. You can find them from around 50pounds upwards in lots of Car accesssory stores and ebay, and I believe Danny @ DTA (in the forum traders section) does a kit for 99 pounds with a very good reputation.

Bumper Lights
Dont bother with different bulbs, purchase a H3 6000K HID Kit. Is yours a UK or Import. The Corner lights are fakes on UK models. and on Imports they are the indicators. Main beam switches off the Dipped beam, side lights (in the bumper) should stay on.

Which brake fluid?
Stick to Dot 4 (Dot 4 superceeds Dot 3) or Dot 5.1 (Dot 5.1 has a higher boiling point but its more expensive and not available everywhere). Dot 3, Dot 4, Dot 5.1 are polyethylene glycol fluids and suitable for the 300zx. They can also be mixed. Dot 5 is silicone based, it can not be mixed with polyethylene glycol based fluids and is non lubricating so can damage seals and ABS pumps. The naming conventions used can be confusing. Specialist Race Fluids such as Castrol SRF are compatable with Dot 3, 4, 5.1 and superceed 5.1 boiling limits. They also absorb less moisture. It is really expensive and not necessary unless you intend to do a lot of Hard track days.
