  1. Its held on by a bracket with 2 bolts in at the top, and then another 3 bolts through the bulkhead. All easily accessible in the footwell. Then its just the bolt on the steering knuckle which means having to get the car in the air to undo. Not sure what you mean by different mounts for column shroud ?
  2. For others looking to retain CC with an aftermarket wheel the simplest way is to purchase one of the available steering wheel boss's that has built in cruise control buttons.
  3. Looks like a neat idea Si, although it would still have been easier for you to just replace the steering column and go for the SRS stalk, its not a big job. But I do like your new idea too.
  4. So what was this slicktop you lost out on, you can let us all know now that you did'nt get it ?

  6. ..if you go to a 285 wide then you'll want to drop down to a 30 profile
  7. 40 profile is too high, it will look odd and your speedo will be out. 265/35/18 is a popular fitment.
  8. Told ya ;) I'd love a set of them again....but would want them in 18" this time
  9. For decent high performance tyres, but at near Budget prices look at the Falken 452's
  10. it looks like the picture dan ;)
  11. Cat overheat light. It essentially means that you have a missfire that is allowing unburnt fuel into the exhaust system where it is igniting itself.
  12. Welcome
  13. Happy Birthday Dave
  14. Happy Birthday Brian
  15. Yes The SWB is shorter and only 2 seats. LWB is longer with a rear seat.
  16. Mike @ MJP for new OEM Sticker or http://www.smithys-place.co.uk (Plenum strip - 8pound) for a nice stainless steel replacement
  17. But there is no mention of regularly producing shoddy work.
  18. I recall something about requireing an inline 12v resistor...you can buy them with the resitor built in, or you can solder them on yourself. ALthough I dont remember the resistor for the dash clocks, just the pods....... sorry, my info is sketchy, its been a while since I did it.
  19. oppss..duplicate post
  20. 501 is the same fitment as sidelight bulbs yes, but have to be carefull with the ones behind the clocks as the size of the bulb cluster can mean it wont fit properly......its best to buy from one of the companies that others have mentioned previously...I cant remember the name of where I got mine, but there are a few threads.
  21. You can't label a garage as bad becuase of one incident, especially when not all the facts are not known. ALL garages make mistakes or have incidents, as takemetothepub said - Its how they deal with them that's important.
  22. Bulb type is 501 no idea about LED Ratings.....but if your getting LED's make sure you get the wide angle cluster versions to spread the light around or you will have dark area's
