  1. This is the SZ-EXP90 / 3071R Turbo's ? Very interested to see your results and feedback on these. Biggest turbos on a Z as far as I know in the UK and they seem to have a excellent reputation for quick spoolup considering their size.
  2. Happy Birthday :duffer:

  4. Nope, same. Definatly. I know it used to be posted on here a lot in the past that they were listed different for Jap and UK, but the mix up was infact between the Z31 and Z32 (the battery catalogues are incorrect). Terminals definatly the same way round on all models. At the back with Positive on left and Negative on right.
  5. oh..and pretty sure its 068 you want. The 096 is about an inch shorter.
  6. Seen that before, somebody posted links to different batteries of the same type and they were listed with different dimensions. btw - Jap and UK use the Same batteries
  7. The problem your experiencing is most likely down to poor brake component condition. Caliper pistons seized and old brake fluid are quite common and make a dramatic affect on braking performance. If you do go down the larger brake disc option then I would go for a 324mm disc upgrade version instead as you will have more Disc options (Skyline GTR size). DTA, Z1 and CZP all sell them.
  8. Allan, personally I think your best option is to drop a 2nd hand engine in and resale complete. It may also help satisfy those buyers that were unnecessarily worried about the mileage as well. I honestly don't think you will get what you want for it with its current engine condition. :( I know of 2x Widearch strosek Z's quite well that were purchased for around 3k fully working , not saying they were comparable to yours in condition or spec (in fact one turned out to be a complete and utter shed, despite being well known and praised on the forum  . The other one was a nice tidy car example and a bargain), but it does show that the widearch is'nt necessarily as strong a selling point as some believe.
  9. Welcome. Have always quite liked the Legacy.
  10. Black with Aftermarket alloys and smoothed tailgate. Spotted by a friend of mine who you parked next to, and he said some people came over to admire it while you were gone and were confused about your engine still running (turbo timer)
  11. Well if is steam then as Vijay says is most likely the 2 large metal pipes leaking that enter the bulkhead that supply water to your Heater matrix. If however its white smoke rather than steam that is possible a leaking rocker cover gasket dripping oil onto the exhaust.
  12. Suspension and chassis setup is just as relevent, without the proper setup a high powered car will feel uncontrollable. Clutch type plays its part, together with cam choice and mapping...but these days its quite achievable to have a car with over 600 horses and be fully streetable. Not that you'd be able to make regular use of all that power. I would be very happy with 450-500 flywheel HP in a good power curve with plenty of response. It is the chassis setup that will make the car quicker on the road/track rather than outright horsepower.
  13. Up to you, but not something I would fit. Those stick on trim kits just look cheap and tacky in my opinion, they look exactly what they are - stick on bits of plastic, and the wood affect version does'nt do it any favours.
  14. Now thats a transformation. I can see 350z in the door shape now, but thats shocking.
  15. Well my very 1st thought when I clicked on the thread was 240z from the front, but I could'nt place it at all from the rear view, and the whole convertible thing changed my mind.
  16. Fiat Barcetta ?
  17. Is that an Mx5 ?
  18. If you think that rebuilding an Autobox to make it into a fastroad box (which still has unknown power handing capablities) is the same as replacing a clutch then fine. Maybe your not familiar with Drivetrain mechanics, but a clutch is not Drivetrain internals. It is external to the box, just like a torque convertor. it sits in the Open ended Bellhousing of the gearbox. You get uprated torque convertors too with higher stall limits, replacing either a TQ or a Clutch is not the same as rebuilding a gearbox.
  19. They join up into the Main EFI Loom around the rear and side of the plenum. TBH it should be relatively easy to see their location as you'll have to spare grey plugs hanging of the main loom in engine bay, but the mistake people often make it to plug them into the VVT connectors as they are the same.
  20. The one Si did, but he's over done it with the contrast a bit
  21. That sound !
  22. ;) Its a Nissan V8 from the Infiniti Range, specifically from the Infininti Q45, and is a derritive of the V8 Nissan used in Racing. The Ultimate V8 300zx
  23. Look great, very tidy install  Are you using the Solvent version that comes in a big Tin (its a sort of clear brown and quite thick) and you cant usually buy it off the shelf, they tend to keep it in under the counter ? or are you using the White non solvent version ? If your using the solvent version then Im very surprised your having problems, that stuff is incredibly strong, I've done 3 interiors with it in Leather and Leatherette (with the fabric backing). The White non solvent version is however pretty crap.
  24.:dance: :hyper: :hyper:  I'd love a VH45 in mine Look forward to video.
