  1. 22680-30P00 Outer diameter of the end that attached to the intake pipeing is 80mm is it the same ?, I always thought the Z32 MAF was an upgrade to Scooby owners running an Apexi FC.
  2. Your modifications will not have lost value in the car, they would of added value. Its things like aftermarket bodykits and the fitting of cheap inferior parts that can have an adverse affect on value. Its not really possible to value a Z online though, even harder without pics. Its condition that has the most affect. You can pay anything from 1000 to 4000 for a TT these days. (excluding the very special examples that have fetched 7-15k) For a TT Manual with your modifications and the recent respray, and if it was in Good condition then your going to be in the upper price bracket.
  3. Yes, loads of threads on this. You need a bit Strip light diffuser, and you heat the lights to seperate them. Replace the orange lense with the new clear diffuser lense and put back together. Lisaf sells the clear lense already cut to size on ebay. Its time consuming and the black sealant stuff gets everywhere and you burn your hands. I did it on my first Z and would not do it again. It does look better than original, but its still not as nice looking as proper 99spec lights.
  4. Grab youself some standard H3 bulbs and do this mod for the MOT http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=27029
  5. Jap - H3c UK - H3 You will not find H3c at Halfords or most Motor factors unfortuatly. They can be bought online and Danny@DTA sells them also. You can purchase H3 bulbs and modify it to earth out the H3 bulb connector on an Import. There are instructions on here to do that. By far the best option it to get a H3 6000k (or lower) HID kit. The Difference really is like Night and Day (pun intended) and they are so cheap these days. A H3 HID kit will fit both Import and UK models.
  6. If its got rear seats its a LWB. SWB is a 2seater.

  8. LOL the important bits aren't
  9. Wheel centre trim !? edit : oh, nevermind, I was being blonde. The Nissan badge on the wheels.
  10. Yep there is a date stamped on various items, including the seatbelts, however these are not conclusive since they could of been changes (the belts in particular are often changed as they have a habit of sagging and sticking a lot). For registration with DVLA you would need documented proof. The number Nissan will want is on the VIN plate in engine bay.
  11. HSD = Better than the Tein superstreets and the Tein Flex and Cheaper. :) I would also take them over the new Tein Mono Flex, HSD are also the same shocks sold by Powertrix and SPL, and have a fair bit of proven track performance experience. More than any other on a 300zx.
  12. ^^^ Thats the one I was thinking of
  13. :( Not sure then. Im sure there are a couple of people on here who have the software to map the stock ECU (like me) and have played around a bit with it but I doubt they have any real Dyno mapping experience. The other known stock ECU chip sellers are just resellers of Chips rather than Custom mappers. I'm sure I read a recommendation of a company in the UK that has mapped the stock Z32 ECU before, but I have no idea who they were now and cant find the relevant thread. Hopefully somebody else will remember and I didn't imagine that. If you cant find anyone then may have to consider a Standalone ECU system. There are companies all over the UK fully experienced in Mapping these to any vehicle. I only have very little experience with tinkering myself and certainly wouldn't want to work on somebody else's. I'll be fully trained in ECU mapping in year 2 of my degree course if you want to wait another year LOL
  14. Speak to John Dixon again. Nobody else in the UK has anywhere near as much experience as John for Mapping the stock ECU. He can custom map it on rolling road. The UK Mapping specialists are all dedicated to mapping Aftermarket standalone Engine management systems.
  15. Looks like a quality retrim. I'd snap up a NA Manual with a decent retrim for that price.
  16. It appears to be a copy of the Zcentre kit, which is a copy of the Paul bailey kit, which is a copy of the Strosek kit. Unfortunatly it looks like it comes with the non-widearch version of the strosek rear bumper, which looks terrible with a wide arch kit. You would need to buy the Widearch rear bumper from Zcentre to go with it. http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_22_38&products_id=97 Its a good price, but personally I would ask them for a price without the rear bumper, so you can save a bit on having to buy the correct rear from zcentre. It looks great with the Strosek copy front bumper or a 99spec front bumper. Does'nt look right with stock front bumper. This is the arches and skirts from Zcentre - http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=21_22_37&products_id=75
  17. If the wheels have covers then the MOT guy is never going to know. Obviously get another as soon as you can though.
  18. Yep :) Although were moving next month into a new Build and that has crap parking :( If I had my way we'd have a house with a Massive garage and loads of parking but with just a Tent to live in.
  19. Skyline injectors wont fit.
  20. The Wife sent me out today to get a new daily runabout...something "Modern", "Economical" and "Reliable" .... ..so I came back with this :x: OPPSS Newer Alfa 156 Leather Interior fitted Even the engine has had a bit of bling Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 I think the Clarkson/Top Gear quote "your not truly a Petrol head till you have owned an Alfa" is what did it. What a surprisingly good car to drive ! Engine is incredibly responsive and loves to be revved with plenty of performance. Suprisingly everything works and nothing has fallen off so far. In fact feels very solid to drive. Im sure its not everybodies cup of tea but Im happy, and luckily the Wife is too :D
  21. Big Improvement, looks great !. Have to say I never liked your old front bumper Im afraid. New one looks great, as do the new (rear) wheels.
  22. Looks like Boost solenoid. Does it have a boost controller fitted ?
  23. True, however rather than just the valve, a detailed description of the entire PCV systems function and purpose would probably be of interest to those members not familiar with it.
  24. It will be to do with the number of ribs on the PAS pulley. There is another version for the 89-93. But your right, there is no reason why you cant fit either, as whichever you buy will require different size belts than stock anyway.
